Was Fresh Prince actually important to people? I mean it wasn't quite as shitty as Saved by the Bell or full house, but i think i'd have a similar response to someone still revering that in adulthood.

I can handle commercials, but i think at least one of those episodes (the stripper cop one) had accidentally cut out part of the show rather than reducing its commercials down, or it just seriously mislabeled its run time or something. Because it was 22 minutes but had full commercials.

This show also isn't going on indefinitely right? So maybe he does stay around for the remaining season without a huge amount of work being involved. At least his swatting of Navi easily makes up for him insulting math.

I don't think the ductective thing implies that Stanford is an evil twin. Partly because it's just such a cliché that Ductective can just be playing off of that, and partly because Stanley is already the evil twin.

What's different in the book? Does he not get even temporarily better, or does she get hurt more by her time with him or what? I don't remember the movie being particularly sunny, but i can see it that story going even worse i guess.

I'm sure they'll be as crass and self-congratulatory as they are with everything else, but it probably really will have significance and serious effects despite their best efforts to make it all about personally cashing in.
