It's not that common and still has some impact. I mean, we're not Australians.

Hap And Leonard is available on Amazon Prime in the UK, and well worth watching.

Also a nice low budget location for the dragon compared to the book :D

I remember getting frustrated with the books at points. The series seems more compelling and enjoyable. They are doing a great job of picking the best narratives from the books and running with their own ideas.

Forgot The Leftovers was returning. Awesome.

Charlize, oh Charlize. Sigh.

"Roadhouse!"

Holy juggling balls, this looks like a lot of fun!

They've veered far enough from the books that I don't think that will be a problem in the future. Also the last book is more expansive than the others, dealing with several wide ranging (figuratively and literally) issues, and I think they could riff off that one book for more than a couple of seasons without padding

Really enjoying the show, it's getting better and better. Some of the characters in the first season never quite sat right with me but now they're all fully integrated. Quentin is a difficult character to like but the actor does a good job of not being unbearably sniveling. Maeve as Julia is really killing it,

I love this. Always loved Archer but this is by far the most sophisticated reinvention. They nailed the time period and the noir/PI mood and have managed to add more narrative and character 'weight' to it. It feels more. This is going to be good.

He was so good in everything he did but A Knight's Tale is probably my favourite film of his to rewatch.

Still have lists. I do anyway :/

As well as the thumbs up thing Netflix is also showing me how much of a match something is to my taste profile. Next to "The Big Short", for example, it's showing "89% Match" in green.

You'll be glad to know the big porn networks are getting together to encrypt your browsing on their sites. So your ISP will be able to sell your porn site history but not the specific proclivities you have. Yay, porn providers!

Aziz "more light!" Ansari was on a travel show on one of those weird networks - like the Abercrombie & Fitch network, or something - and he was in a city, somewhere, having fun. Maybe we just need to try harder, or be richer, or something.

The scenes were split about 50/50 between New York and Italy by the looks of things. A lot of scenes in his apartment, etc.

I remember it has a bicycle in it, so maybe?

This looks awesome but…. no Noel Wells at all? :/

For network tv it's not bad. They take some risks and seem to enjoy keeping momentum going. I was really happy to see Holloway get a decent gig and he makes the most of it. It's also nice to see Sarah Wayne Callies liberated from her godawfully written character on The Walking Dead.
