I grew up in the 80s. Not every family yells but I know quite a few who do. And I can't get enough of the kid who plays Barry, and he yells quite a bit. He is freakin hilarious.

Agreed. I enjoy that show so much. AV Club is 100% wrong on this one.
I could not disagree with you more on the Goldbergs. I remember laughing quite a bit at the pilot, and yeah, it got even better after that. You guys are way harsh on that excellent, freshman comedy.
Anyone else get the feeling Rumple is on his way out? I noticed it and a few of the Lily Sparks commenters noticed it. He seems too happy and settled. Like a guy in a cop movie who is a day away from retirement… But if Robert Carlyle leaves, so do I. He is the #1 reason to watch the show.
Yeah that one didn't land for me either, but I though the concept could have been funny. And Jay Pharoah is funny just by mugging at the camera.
I <3 Mike O'Brien. The bug thing was adorable. More Mike O'Brien please. Also, if you want to see his best work, check out 7 Minutes in Heaven on the youtubes.
When he showed up in the past-lovers sketch, I was like, who is the hot guy? Oh, he's one of the new cast members that's NEVER on the show…
So, why didn't he experience the same day over and over, like Regina did, in the Groundhog day episode that showed how Storybrooke worked? I try not to question OUAT too much…
She did create that potion that brought back Belle (and Sneezy). So she has moments. But generally, she's a jerk. Wasn't sorry to see her go.
Yeah, agreed, felt totally bad for Regina. When she realized Pan was being fake, she looked totally dejected. Then Robbie Kay as Henry hugged her and it was very sweet.
Are they in a relationship? Please give something to Tink. She is super pointless at the moment. I preferred Blue to her, even though Blue was kind of bitchy.
Yeah, that wedding dress and the HORRIBLE beehive wig were doing her no favors. It seems as if they are trying to get her pregnant in both Storybrooke and FairyTaleLand storylines though, so maybe she'll be showing for real soon enough.
Still looks manorexic to me.
I agree. I thought i was in the minority but I prefer spending my time in Storybrooke.
As much as the Medusa storyline was utterly pointless, it was nice to see MM in her hot Snow outfit, striking out and acting like a badass.
I don't think he's that bad, he just really, really reminds me of Silverchair and that song about anorexia.
Yes, the direction for the scene with the black eyes cut with Bad Hair Day playing, was definitely Home Movies-esque. Dare I say, I like this show even more than Home Movies, which was one of my favorite shows (I even got to see a "live show" with most of the cast in Philly years ago, which was a dream.)
I gave the very first episode a try and I wonder if I'll be able to return for more. If there was a promise of Robert Carlyle special guest appearance, perhaps. Otherwise, hmm, not that engaged by the show. There is no Storybrooke, everything is pretty wild and crazy, I think that is part of the problem.
I didn't really mean it that way… I meant that this baby looked less like a blob and more like a young JG. Poor kid gets a lot of flak but his character is forced to say some very dumb things (I wanted to save magic!)
I actually thought the baby they cast was both adorable and looked a bit like the kid who plays Henry. I know it was just a baby and most babies just look like blobs, but this one really looked like Jared Gilmore to me.
