I love/hate Dear Emily and Richard. Love the idea of a flashback but hate the acting by the two playing young Lorelei and Christopher, esp young Lorelei. She just wasn't good. But darn, if they had found better actors, I would be all about them having a flashback episode once per season because I love the idea of

Agreed the way that they got rid of Casey made very little sense within his character. I will miss Casey.

I personally love CeCe and CeCe/Schmidt.

Agree with you. Thought this was an A episode and one of the funniest ones yet too.

Uh, yeah, just saw an image of the Sandman pop up on facebook. May have to remove this show from my Season Pass. Damn, I really liked it but I also like to SLEEP AT NIGHT.

Can you pretty please bring back Dawson's recap/reviews, AV Club??!!!

Nurse Jackie EMMY WINNING character part >>>> New Girl guest star part

There were a ton of laugh out loud moments in this episode. I'm still waiting for my Winston-centered episode, though…

I haven't been to Croydon… if it's anything like Croydon, PA, it's not the best place.

Not that 41 is old, but I would have pegged him for mid-twenties early thirties.

Holy crap, John Cho is 41! Maybe he does have a special deal…

Agree, John Cho is scaring me pretty well, mostly with his delivery. He is so freaking cute though. Also, the witch was totally a non-entity then she got blowed up, so that was kind of pointlessly non-scary (but I'll take it because the rest of the show freaked me out to no end…)

So creepy. Nightmares.

I agree that rewriting the witch hysteria into reality is messed up, but it's a show about myths being real, so I just go with it. Really loving the casting choices here. Abbie, Orlando Jones, Abbie's ex-boyfriend, John Cho… way to mix it up with people of color. A show hasn't really done it that well since Grey's

Am I the only person who is seriously scared by the imagery in this show? I haven't watched ep 3 yet, but I watched ep 2 on my DVR last night and I can't get that weirdo image of John Cho with his head all bent back out of my head. Plus he's so weirdly chill with the devil/demon/whatever. Gah.

Yeah, yeah, I get why she's leaving the show. But why write it off as part of the revenge plot with no explanation? I guess she was getting in the way, but is that revenge-worthy?

I thought the same thing. I don't know how this show will maintain for more than three seasons. There is only so much revenge one can commit before one loses their mind… But I don't think it's gone off the deep end yet.

I thought this episode was a solid B-. I've watched every episode and mainlined season 2 on Netflix just last month. I for one, liked the season, with all it's craziness. I liked how this episode handles introducing some new themes for the season. I'm not psyched about Aiden's dark turn, however I'm stoked that he's

I feel like Paris is more realistic. Francie is just crazy. But yeah, I guess there are some sociopaths out there, I just never met any quite as crazy as Francie.

I agree the blonde didn't look great on Sherry… but honestly she still looked hot because this is Madchen Amick and it's impossible to make her look bad.
