"No kid would like a light show in this day and age"
"No kid would like a light show in this day and age"
The two quotes that made me laugh out the most:
“What’s that smell? It’s like a skunk is smoking.” “That’s…probably what it is.”
…not too subtle, but Gene's first intro to the smell of weed.
It's about time I saw the doll storyline. I watched it on YouTube when they were doing a Table Reading at PopFest. It's great to see that come to life now and how it fits into the whole plot. I don't know why I didn't see it before that Larry Murphy voiced Gretchen.
Missing from this list:
Turtles in Time, Super Punch Out, Super Ghouls-N-Ghosts, Smash TV, Earthworm Jim, and Super Mario All-Stars.
There's too many to fit into 30 games. They need at least 50.
Although most of this list I'd agree with… I'd leave out half the RPG's. We just want a quick pick-up-and-play.
So basically, it's COD: World at War… 2.
Wish they'd remake more SEGA classics with pretty much the exact same gameplay, but updated graphics… The original Wonderboy for one, but oodles more I can name off as well.
He's talented, but I don't think I've ever heard him do a Willy Wonka impression.
Well, the songs (in the trailer) sounded a lot like him.
At least it's hand drawn animated.
That's about all I can say about it. You can't do Tom & Jerry anymore. It will NEVER ever match the days of the 40's & 50's T&J. Anything else just pales in comparison. At the very very very least, T&J don't talk, unlike other 90's & 00's revivals.
Gene Wilder?
Jesus friggin' Christ… who's home is so dirty that they're attracting roaches?
If I find a little spider or house fly in my house, I won't rest until it's deader than Michael Richard's career.
IS there anything classic about it, though?
Was it really a disaster? Sold out quick, and was a hot item of X-mas.
It should be a benchmark. They could, in theory, probably release most of the games sans TV/movie/comic licensed ones. It's not like each one takes up much memory anyway.
Wish they'd really release something a new NES classic with more than 50 games. However, an SNES better include at least 50 games on it, as their library also consists of over 700 games (I think SNES actually had a few more than the original NES)… so don't screw the consumer and release just like a couple dozen.
That's a HUGE flaw in this article. It's actually a very very good port… yes, it's difficult, but it's not difficult because of bad controls. The hits you take make you jump back, but that's not a fault of the controls.
I almost broke many-a-controllers back in the 80's when I played it on the NES… I think I broke out into more tears than controllers, however.
It's way more out of place to see someone dressed up in a suit and tie climbing walls trespassing on other people's properties than someone in street clothes with a black knitted hat doing the same thing.
I hope Chuck gets his just deserves… maybe have a bunch of cellphones and electrical supplies "magically" show up at his house… maybe rid of all the tin foil and mylar around the house so he will have a nervous breakdown.
