I don't get how last week's lipsynch is considered to be good.
I don't get how last week's lipsynch is considered to be good.
last year Darienne and Courtney should have been sashayed away in favor of Dela.
Said that, you can clearly see the quality of this season by comparing last year's top 5 (Adore, Courtney, Bendela, Darienne and Bianca!) with this year. So sad.
Roar was a terrible lipsynch, they just jumped around!
I don't get the "Pearl is there because he's a cut boy" doesn't make much sense in the light of the previous seasons. I mean, Milk was eliminated very early in the competition last year, for example.
I believe she's still there because the great majority of queens this year lacked the storyline needed for this show and…
I'm sorry, but where was all your virtuous rage when Jaime raped Cersei?
This season never gave me fire in first place, and now it's basically dead for me. Not because I'm disappointed that my favourite queen left, but because, really, nobody left has what needs to be the next drag superstar. In the past seasons, at least two or three names out of the four left could have been good…
how could Galecki get a nomination and Parsons not?! that's quite a shocker!
I was curious so I looked up at some numbers for the final 5:
actually, the pattern is the same of last season, when episode 10 had 6 queens, 11 had 5 and 12 had 4.
Condragulations to the queens because that was indeed a difficult judging decision, and they all made good work on the challenge and on the runway look. Personally I would have chosen Kennedy and Ginger for the lipsynch but I understand Rupaul's reasons of Trixie-Ginger and I don;t even feel ripped off. It's fine.
did ti really felt 10 hours of plot? I found several episodes slow moving and quite filler-like.
I join the group that says Katya should have won. She should have won last week already, but of course they neeed to bring Trixie back.
Ginger was good but Katya was better!
isn't the shot put in the front of the review the mirror of the iconic shot at the end of season 5 when the partners are seen from the back against the windows of the empty new floor they just bought to expand the SCDP firm?
I cannot think it's a coincidence.
they were also more "niche" jokes, especially understood by nerdy and/or scientific-oriented audience, not the trite "making fun of nerds" jokes that have become widespread in later season.
I don't think this is what the reviewer wants to say at all. Seasons 1-3 are almost a completely different show (my view: a widely less successful, but more original one).
Once the girls came in (and with Penny moving on from her role of unreachable object of desire) the series changed, and this is the series the…
I am absolutely no fan of Courtney, but she did really much better than Fame. She never made disasters - she was bland at worst, but never terrible - and the challenges she won, she won them fair and square.
THIS is the episode this season needed. Usually it's the Snatch game that steals the show, but I'd say this one clearly stands above last week and it's one of the most epic episodes of Drag race ever!
I absolutely love the last five minutes of this Banana episode (basically from the last meeting between Yvonne and Scotty to the end)
welcome to UK series!
The CW has managed to get series with seemingly absurd premises destined to disaster and turning them into a good show (Jane, izombie, the 100). These Messengers do not start well - horrible timeslot, midseason, not that much advertisement - so they seem on a straight path to cancellation also thanks to a crowded CW…
