I agree.
I agree.
Seriously! We know from the price quotes that a funeral with viewing came out to (not sure I remember, but I think) $7,600. If he's got that lying around, maybe he could be paying for some of the baby stuff Debbie needs for his great grandchild. Or, like in the earlier seasons, sending a few hundred dollars a month…
He was really great in these episodes with Monica. The problem with his character is that he is almost always 1) causing problems for his children, whom we care about, or 2) having some completely unrelated shenanigans that just suck time from the other stories. When he's tied to the family's immediate story, but…
I agree that Debbie's turn around made no sense, but her character has been so annoying, I barely care. She will be less annoying next season if she's more stable. I think it was the show's way of showing Lip that another of his siblings is doing a better job of transforming her life than he is. I mean, now we've…
I'm 99% sure that Frank did learn about it when they first found out.
Ian also told Trevor that Frank was his father. I think they both agree that Frank is the closest thing to a father that Ian has.
I see that actor in everything.
Oh my God, is Masters of Sex still on? I started watching it toward the beginning, but I got bored and stopped.
But all of my favorite scenes this season have been Ian and Lip, or Ian, Lip, and Carl having brother talks!
Hmm, the EMT course that my friend did took a fair amount of study and was pretty rigorous. Must have been at least 6 months, if not a year. . .
Exactly! Come on, statutory rape may call for a police raid! I also keep thinking that Carl and his girlfriend look like they're about 14, so it seems extra gross, but I think they're supposed to be 16, so I guess college guys aren't too much of a stretch, though still illegal.
Debbie is horrible now.
Maybe they call it "volunteering" or something, then.
I know, lots of people do!
I agree about the emergency contact thing. We saw in this episode that she's good at being their emergency contact, too, even managing to get Debbie out of trouble. But I don't know about the money, especially with Debbie. She's asking them for a lot less than it would cost them to go out on their own.
Eek! Just finished Buffy for the first time! Congrats. Many re-watches to come!
I'm reading this review and comments for fun. I'm jealous that you just finished the series a year ago. You probably don't have all of the episodes memorized for life yet, and can rewatch without remembering every single detail. It's too late for me. I've watched through the whole show. . . a lot.
How is that possible?!
Ah, see, since I'm from out west, I hadn't thought of the public transportation of it all. Riding home with a bunch of strangers with puffy red eyes would not be great. Though you would probably pull yourself together faster than just sitting home alone. I prefer to have fights/breakups at their place, because then…
I prefer to hook up with people at their place, because then I can leave whenever I want, instead of having to unceremoniously kick someone out after they've not murdered me. ;)
