i kinda like him in the comics as well. well not like him for real, but he's the best villain they've ever had.

they are heavy handed though, literally every death death was telegraphed and foreshadowed, and other than shouting it from rooftops they couldn't have made them clearer. i've never been surprised by a death on the show, i always knew when a character was about to go.

exactly. nothing is off camera ffs, bc it's not real. so it's either in the show or it isn't. poor lauren, clearly was not her fault but she still has to cover the writers' arse.

are we still talking about this? i remember this discussion when lori was pregnant. not gonna happen!

I can’t get used to Adam and Jessa no matter how hard I try.

yeah, exactly. that's why the review got it right, this is mostly about hannah and jessa, and how jessa looked for an excuse not to feel guilty to pursue what she always wanted.

same. people hate hannah because it's lena dunham, but honestly jessa is far far worse.

Not only is Jessa working with the least foundation of any of the Girls, but she's also a huge source of practical support for the entire crew, in spite of her flightiness.

Jessa has always been awful to Hannah, at like every possible turn, so I see her fury at Hannah as a B.S. excuse to do whatever she wants to do, which is what Jessa has always done anyway.

i hated that, it was such a cop out.

    did girls ever do foreshadowing?

you saw that? wow. go watch it again, or look for a gif somewhere.

no way. they're setting her up as a leader, it's pretty clear. someone isn't paying attention…

i agree that they're just treading water until they actually get to negan (but once they do it's pretty good, trust me). that's what happened in the comics as well, and at this point the show and the comics are basically the same. idk why they're attacking you, some people get defensive of their fav shows and it's

For me, the best runs of TWD were the back end of S2, the front eight of S4 (the back eight of four were also underrated IMO)

imo the fact kirkman is adamant to include of all his comics' storylines makes the show worse. there's so much crap that could be cut (starting from the actors having to wear those ridiculous wigs to resemble their comics counterparts), but he doesn't allow it. he should have never been given that much power.

nah, i think the review is right. how jessa is after having sex with adam is very telling.

    neither can i.

yeah, i get what you're saying, that's one of the reasons why i don't personally ship them either, she could do far better. and yes, sasha and rosita being into abraham is just laughable.

this! i don't even ship them either, but the comments on how they should have stayed platonic are doing my head in. it's been building for ages, people who don't see it, it's because they don't want to.
