Looking forward to four years of puffed up, unwarranted outrage pieces like this.

So this will be the second shitty video game movie that Jake Gyllenhaal has starred in. I hope they never get around to making shit movies out of my favorite games.

I haven't had much time for games recently, but one of my resolutions this year is to play the original Fallouts in time for the 20th anniversary of the franchise. Other than that, I'm gonna try to finish my collection of 360 games, so Spec Ops: The Line and Bully are ones I wanna play this year.

Really looking forward to Prey. A survival horror shooter with Chris Avellone writing sounds like a winning formula.

I'm fucking psyched for BCS season three! No sarcasm, just real excited.

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all had good holidays. Now, here’s a discussion question: What was the best year in video games? For me, it was 2010. Fallout: New Vegas, Mass Effect 2, Halo: Reach, Red Dead Redemption, and now Alpha Protocol. Those first three titles are among my favorite games of all time and the

Maybe herding space cows.

But where's John Marston?

Holy shit, I'm actually early for this. I haven't had much time for games this past week, what with me being in a car accident (as a passenger) and a planned vacation gone as a result of said accident. I'm gonna try to finish Bioshock 2 before Christmas, so I can devote my time to Alpha Protocol.

For me, it was Red Dead Redemption, the Western epic I never knew I wanted. And along with Venerable Monk, Halo: ODST, which made me fall in love with Halo again.

It definitely deserves a better reputation. The story is kind of derivative, but it has enough new stuff to make it engaging.

I passed! When I get the chance, I'm gonna drive myself over to the GameStop and get a new game.

Today I take my driving test, so wish me luck. Other than that, I finished Portal 2. I caved and looked up a solution but I finished it with only two lookups. I also started Bioshock 2. This may be heresy, but so far I like this one more than I like the original. The gameplay updates, like not having to switch between

I just looked him up. I had no idea that he was both Tarkin in ROTS and Scorpius on Farscape.

It was the only Old West game I've ever played, but it covered the whole cowboy experience so well that I don't know if I need to play another. Or at least that's what I'll say until the sequel comes out.

Chiseling away at Portal 2. So far, I've only had to look up one solution and I'm resisting looking up any more. I've figured out the strategy for the current puzzle, but I can't get enough momentum with the repulsion gel to push myself through to the other side. I'll get back to you guys next week if I solve it.

Yay, Valiant Hearts! Even my dad who doesn't think much of video games was very impressed with that one.

I thought ROTS was better than TFA. There, I said it.

The ME games are a commitment in terms of time, but they're all very good and worth playing. Just be prepared to become absurdly emotionally attached to your companions.

The MEA gameplay trailers haven't grabbed me so far. It looks like it's trying to be a bunch of different games at once. Here's hoping it'll be good. And for the record, I agree with you about the Mako.
