I love the Dunwich Building in Fallout 3. A lot of people don't because they think it's lore breaking or something, but I love it for the fact that the game briefly but memorably turns into Dead Space. Walking slowly down the dark halls, gun in hand, hearing the ghouls murmur, trying to find the obelisk that will

I should have mentioned the song! That was a highlight of the game for me too.

I felt over-powered in F4 and for me the perk system didn't feel challenging enough. In F3 and NV, (haven't played the old ones) the game felt a lot more difficult at lower levels then F4 did at those same levels. In the previous two, it was very satisfying to max out my character's stats by the end. For me, skills

The plot never made a ton of sense, even to someone like me who knows a fair bit of Halo lore. That's why Reach's campaign is my favorite. It may be clichéd, but it's an accessible story.

Replacing the karma system with a loyalty type mechanic was the right idea, but I miss the skills a lot. I think the perk system would be fine if it was just more well balanced.

The ghost battle was one thing that lost me plot wise, but I didn't find the actual fight that annoying, although I was only playing on medium difficulty.

First things first, I gotta talk about Bioshock: Infinite.

Humanity being politically unimportant in the original ME was a nice touch, but the way they totally ditched that angle in the sequels was always kinda silly to me. The fact that the Council would award humans with equal political status after just one battle was already a stretch, but we've only been a spacefaring

If it's gonna be open world, I better not have to go up 90 degree angles in a Mars rover again.

I'm not sure what to feel about that Mass Effect preview. That cutscene they showed looks so much like the end of Borderlands 2, and those Remnant bots look like the Sentinals from Halo. And now, we apparently have the Scan Visor from Metroid Prime, so I'm not sure what exactly Bioware is going for here. Thoughts?

I actually kind of hated Skytown because I found it really hard to navigate. I think I spent ten straight minutes trying to find the door that lead to the Chozo observatory room even though the map said it was right next to me.

I like the campaigns of 1-3 and Reach. Everything post-Reach lost me, but I look forward to replaying the Bungie ones.

I finished Metroid Prime 3 on Tuesday and wanted to share my thoughts on the game.

Voice acting for the FC was good too. That actress was also Jack in Mass Effect and the guy who voiced Garrus played a couple of NPCs, Sometimes FO4 felt like a ME reunion or something.

The vaults were lackluster compared to past games I'll admit, but I did like Vault 81 for the fact that I could interact with non asshole Vault dwellers for once. And I got a sexy sounding French robot/android out of it to boot.

I thought the USS Constitution and Silver Shroud quests fit the bill for goofy humor. And did anyone else notice kind of a self aware streak in Fallout 4? Like when X6 questions why eating a corpse would heal your wounds, or when you find out Danse is a synth and none of your companions are surprised at all? I think

Yeah, Bethesda did a lot better with character and faction interaction in FO4 than I thought they would. The whole world felt more inhabited and alive than the world of FO3 did. Still not as good as FNV I agree, but I think Bethesda made some real progress in terms of worldbuilding.

Beat Metroid Prime 1 a few days ago, and I'm currently in the middle of Echoes. I never thought I'd say this, but I think I like Echoes more than the first one. There's more stuff to gather and more lore to take in, and I haven't found it to be tedious or boring. I think the story is more focused and structured

I thought the secret recipe was Plankton.

I think the whole Prime trilogy is worth playing, but if you're someone who hates having to run back and forth to the same areas to fetch items then it might not be your cup of tea. But regardless of that, all the Prime games have awesome boss fights. The final boss in the first game is probably my favorite boss
