I've always given him major props for not shying away from how douchey Ted often is. He goes all in. And the fact that he can then turn around and make us cry is terrifically impressive.

There's a not-insignificant part of me that wants to be just like Moira when I'm that age.

I was going to say, that seems HIGHLY unethical.

Well, Gilbert & Sullivan are sort of the Shakespeare of musicals: smart, often funny but require you to understand the jokes, reliant on old traditions, just as off-putting to people who don't get it.

Ellen apologizes SO MUCH. Everyone on this show does - they use "sorry" like a punctuation mark - but Ellen shouts it at every opportunity. Of course, this is because she doesn't really care and figures that if she apologizes she won't have to change her behavior. My favorite is how she walks into every rehearsal

Paul Gross is a master of Shakespeare Voice. He seems to sink into it effortlessly when reciting, he sounds completely natural and at ease, but he instantly becomes the gravitational center of the room. He's good in his normal scenes, but my favorites are when he's performing/reciting and when he's coaching someone

I keep calling the tiny blonde one "baby Megan Hilty" because I can't remember her name and they look similar. But I do think we're starting to get a sense of them as different people, at least enough that I'm not worried for the future.

It's also just way too cutesy. My problem is the sound of the word, really, especially combined with the statement "It's on ABC Family:" none of this shouts "quality programming."

I can no longer see the word ice without reciting to myself, "Ice Town Loses Ice Clown His Town Crown," and laughing like a maniac.
