I know your intentions are good and I love Egypt's comic too, but I don't think putting down other creators that a lot of people are excited about is a good way to get the word out about underdog comics. Oh, indeed! I meant the cliché type of feminist icon - the kind of iron-willed, perfectly compassionate, always-right woman that we all wish we could be. I think maybe sometimes people think that every time you show a woman doing something wrong, stupid or reprehensible has to be anti-feminist, which is just dumb.

I'm worried about the concept that Liz Lemon has to be a feminist icon rather than just a super funny and almost always well written female character. Liz is extremely imperfect even though she wants to be a better person, and she doesn't stick to her ideals all the time, because life with other people is hard and
