The irony is the best Han moments were improvised — the conversation with security while in the Death Star prison area; "I love you"/"I know"…even in Raiders (I know it's not Star Wars), Ford improvised the part where he shot the big guy with the fancy sword.

I think it's safe from spoiler territory — the show has gone a different route.

Another fun fact: if it weren't for Howard the Duck being such an abysmal failure, we wouldn't have Pixar.

No, but you should maybe pay attention to the show if you plan to make grand conclusions about it (referring to OP, not you)

Yes, in the first episode, in the first discussion between the brothers.

I'm doing alright thanks.

They specifically address it in the very first conversation we see between the two brothers. I concede the stunt casting makes it at least initially confusing (if you're one who didn't read anything about the season before it aired), but it's right there in the show, more than once.

Not really, no.

It's obvious in the first episode and all the press releases leading to the premiere. I find it frustrating when it's right there in the text of the show and people draw highfalutin' conclusions based on something that's wrong.

They're using her to make a point about him, though. If anything, she's made to be sympathetic/rational by wanting desperately to NOT be around her husband. They're not attacking her as a person or pulling a "Complicit" type gag like SNL did with Ivanka.

God, my heart just shattered for poor Irene…dammit, Jimmy.

I don't think HistoryofMatt is trying to address the question of objectivity, necessarily; more that critics used to be held to a higher journalistic standard than they are today. Basically anyone can be a critic these days, and there is a more direct (or at least more overt) link between today's criticism and the

And here I thought the world was going upside-down…liberals are being upset about words and doing nothing else. Thanks, Obama.

The point is a cop turns the gears because that's what made the film Fargo, and that's what's made the series work. If a bowler turned the gears it'd be called The Big Lebowski, etc.
