Do you give a shit if I do? Here's some "ephemera" on the site RIGHT NOW:

My life is great! I actually have someone who loves me AND I can invest in frivolous items! Let me tell you all about it! Would you like pictures of my various figures and statues?

Are your biggest problems really guitars and whether or not colouring books are hand-drawn? Jesus.

No no no…Myers has made fun of himself on this accord both on his show and in interviews with other shows; sorry it sounded like I was lumpin' the pumpkin on him (I feel like that's a joke his writer's room would have immediately shot down!).

Don't get me wrong, I'm not placing blame….the pumpkin's ego has been at work for longer than most of the people who frequent this site have been alive. Like an unchecked infection…

I sorta wish it was just the outline with the temperature, but that's still brilliant

While I agree with the first part, that attitude is sophomoric, and it's precisely why someone wouldn't want their artistic endeavour labelled "feminist" — it implies that 'if you don't like it, you're an idiot.'

When is "IT" coming?

He's been "looking to run" since at least 1999, before he was even married to Melania. The fact a 'rich' celebrity was invited to the WHCD isn't an indication of anything.

Um no? Myers himself has said that he's 'responsible' for the pumpkin actually running. While pumpkin may have had "aspirations" prior to this (his hinting at a run is well documented), it has been argued that that dinner was the moment he really set his mind on it. Have you watched the clip? If there's one

I had always heard that the Deadpool writers used Negasonic because she appeared in like two issues, meaning there were limited rights/costs issues and the writers thought it was a funny concept…curious about your Cannonball source (not challenging, honestly asking)

Hence the jokes Myers told…

There's an argument that has been made that it was Seth Myers at the Correspondent's Dinner in 2011 taunting the pumpkin that inspired him to make the run….

I had posted a reply to this but I suspect it didn't show up because it used some 'bad' language, which was kind of the point — somehow the mod-bots don't understand context. Either that or (most likely) I'm bad at internet, so I'm sorry if I'm basically saying the same thing twice.

I reckon it is just semantics. I would suggest that we're both looking for a society in which everyone can be themselves and no one else really gives a shit and simply treats them as an equal human being. That's what I mean by people are people first — first you're an equal human being deserving of respect, then

If feminism = equality, then I'm on your side (I don't think I ever suggested otherwise, but I have a tendency to be shitty at internet).

That's a very false equivalency. The need for feminism arose (and persists) because of the unfair/unequal treatment of women compared to men. If the goal is equal treatment, and that goal is achieved, there would be no need for feminism. (Reductive, I know)
