Magneto DID tear all the adamantium out of Wolverine (that's how we discovered his claws were actually part of his mutation, when they came back as bone)…but yeah I remember being a kid thinking it was pretty stupid to send a guy with a metal skeleton up against the Master of Magnetism

I can't imagine a single American outside of maybe Jerry Seinfeld or Larry David who could possibly give even half a fuck if Australia remade Seinfeld.

An Indian being a PhD isn't necessarily bucking stereotype…if he were an East Asian character one could make the same argument. It's good he's not doing some silly accent for just for jokes, though (even if that seems to be all the writers use him for; I don't really watch the show very often so I could be wrong on

Oh your logic is certainly sound…but at least now we have popular network shows that subvert these stereotypes (Black-ish and Fresh Off the Boat the most obvious examples; meanwhile Cece in New Girl is Indian, a fact that is rarely even mentioned, let alone stereotyped the same way).

Sorta low-hanging fruit there…besides the Indian character, the main white characters play stereotypical nerds, the main Jewish character combines nerd and stereotypical Jew (with his mother being a REALLY stereotypical Jew), and the main woman plays a stereotypical ditzy blonde. It's not like Big Bang Theory peddles

Relax, I'm just teasing. Jeez.

Well said…I was gonna suggest that the fact they meet like that suggests more a circle than a straight line.

It's funny how close the extremes can be…often both sides argue false flag in order to strengthen the government's grip on the people, for example. I guess the difference is why it would want to (not that I really know a whole lot about the issue…it's pretty silly to me).

Unfortunately, the "these guys are worse" argument is specious. Being less worse doesn't make one acceptable. Better, sure, but still not what we should be aiming for.

Dammit, you just killed the point about correct spelling! (Although I guess here it's technically grammar….)

As much as I'm not a fan of either political extreme spouting bullshit, I'd suggest that a couple of those that you mentioned (Bush behind 9/11 and anti-vaxxers specifically) can be espoused by both the far left and far right alike.

I said exactly that to my girlfriend while we were watching last night…as someone who also loved Hannibal, it was a compliment of the highest order.

Megustalations!

From who???

It's almost as if Asian people haven't long written and drawn for American comics — arguably the most influential artist in the last 20-25 years is Asian. Almost as if there isn't a truly massive industry of comics written by Asians and featuring almost exclusively Asians and is usually even written in Asian

Yeah but she's not a writer/producer on Sunny, so she has more time to split between two shows.

Seth Myers was too and he's relentlessly political…

Did you read Howerton's interview with Alan Sepinwall on Uproxx? I suspect/hope you're right that he's bluffing, but he speaks with what I felt to be a genuine uncertainty (and he also might be tied up in a Fox show coming up)…

Haha wow!

Canada's actually seen a big rise in illegal immigration from America since Trump; if anything we're gonna build a wall to keep America out.
