Nailed it except for the "very good film" part. Argento is a fucking hack who is responsible for maybe forty total minutes of quality (the opening of Suspiria obviously counts).

I feel like your statement can be correlated pretty closely with Aqualad's just below ("[they] all have the same face"); I'd suggest that the specificity and similarity of his faces allowed them to just barely twitch a lip and communicate EVERYTHING.
