For what it's worth, you honestly have my sympathy. I understand these things are legitimate issues for some people, hence the "almost" part. It bothers me when people who have real problems, like yourself, are over-shadowed by people who impose their standards on others; that's what I'm getting at.

Yeah they only just started covering it around here…

I know I was flippant about peanuts, choosing them only because it's the easiest/most obvious scapegoat (lazy on my part, I admit).

I'm sure by now you've seen the fan film starring James Van der Beek and Katee Sackhoff…that took itself pretty damn seriously and kicked all kinds of ass.

Oh jeez, he was too…my only knowledge of Jonah Hex is listening to the Flop House make fun of it and I don't think they mentioned him in that episode. Looking at the IMDB page…that's a pretty stacked cast…how did it go so wrong???

Why do you say that? Your logic is cyclical at best and hypocritical at worst…

It's interesting that this episode (and many of the conversations in the comments) are arriving at around the same time it's revealed that the Oculus founder is apparently part of a right-wing group dedicated to using "shitposting" and other such internetting to promote a certain pumpkin…

Interesting…it makes a lot of sense to me that right-leaning people would enjoy Person of Interest (which I understand to be about surveillance as a tactic to prevent/solve crime) and The Goldbergs (which I understand to be about a fairly successful family in the Reagan-era 80s). Can't say much about Longmire, having

Bryan Cranston. Even John Carter isn't as bad as it was made out to be…

I'm sure plenty are thinking Man of Steel, but I'm with you…

Wow, here I was thinking my Karn tape measure couldn't be topped…I tip my hat to you, sir

Figured a comment like this would come along before too long…I recognize that serious allergies exist, and need to be addressed with the appropriate amount of care…I really do.

I think, Ms. Stephens, you hit on the very worst part of food in your last paragraph. In my experience, the people who use what they eat as a badge for their identity are the most insufferable idiots around. Now we're at a point at which children can't bring cookies to school in their lunch because other people have

I have a tape measure with Richard Karn's picture on it…I would post a picture if I were better at internet. It is my favourite tape measure.

I think this piece speaks to how the AV Club writers/audience view pop culture…Last Man Standing has been a consistently successful (network) show in much the same way According to Jim was. There's a reason simple, dumbass comedies attract viewers while more complex comedies like Parks and Rec or You're the Worst

Valid points, to be certain. I do think there's some validity to the idea that there's catharsis to be found in getting some of these darker urges out, but I think the key point that you make is that, often, these avenues involve willing participants. There's perhaps an argument to be made that by making your

I think I, Khan O'Clast's argument is similar to a pro-legalization of prostitution argument that's often thrown around — isn't it better that someone can pay for sex from a (relatively) willing participant than have that person force themselves on a totally unwilling one? Another along the same vein is used to

As someone who's been called a troll in these parts, I'd like to offer an opinion…I think there are people who have 'unpopular' opinions, and when these opinions are expressed, people inherently feel uncomfortable (or hurt or what-have-you). Part of the problem with internet culture, I think, is that people have

I don't think it's been released, I'm afraid. This is a pretty cool move by Adult Swim and I'm sure it's (at least partially) in tribute to Croker.

Had to start wearing suits…still love me some good ol' fashioned punk rock though.
