Almost wish I hadn't found out about this because now it's going to be with me until I die. The idea of Duchovny jamming out to this in his trailer as he apparently did is wonderful.

It's a sad day when Ken has the worst stage music in a Street Fighter game.
The sampling of Street Fighter 2 really threw me. PERFECT
That fake Peter Molyneux twitter account strikes again.
I had this exact thought and I'm very happy to hear that it is indeed my dude Stephen Tobolowsky.
I'd never heard or seen the video for "Is There Something I Should Know". The Venture Brothers really enrich our lives in wonderful, unexpected ways.
I love FMV games (despite the fact that they're all complete trash). The X-Files FMV game was the hardest I've ever laughed while playing a game, the awkwardness of the acting perfectly syncs up with the herky jerky way the video clips cut in and out.
Blackhat was the first Mann movie I didn't enjoy and couldn't finish. I have to imagine that some amount of that is attributable to the cut if he didn't have full control, and I'd hope that a new version could be better.
For me… the coffee is the juice.
Oh, a reference to the house from Fight Club makes sense. Ever since the first time we saw it I've been reminded of the whorehouse Don Draper grew up in.
It would be good if we got some Monarch flashbacks to his childhood in that house, revealing that he's a Jonas Venture bastard like Dr Quymn presumably is.
Wasn't this the first time Robertson referred to Algernon as his son? He really seems genuinely ashamed of himself that he can't guarantee Algernon a position at the new Knick.
I was kind of disappointed that Sniper Wolf wasn't addressed directly in MGSV since she would have been born in Kurdistan (apparently between 75-85) and mentions being mentored by Big Boss and referring to him as Saladin (always thought that was cool).
I thought that ruled out her being directly related to Quiet or…
I've long since reached that point in the game where all that's left are the seemingly endless side ops, collecting tanks and dudes. It feels kind of empty and unsatisfying after 100 plus hours, but I love your take on it - that it ties in to Venoms fate of being cursed with the burden of pointless, endless battle,…
Tobo playing a shouty Ballmer type on Silicon Valley is something I would be very up for.
NBC killed it in the crib I'm afraid.
I'm sorry, I had to get on that - https://www.youtube.com/wat…
I'm with you. I particularly hate the fact that they end up oversimplifying an interesting topic to the point where you learn almost nothing at all.
They have a really bad habit of playing a clip of a scientist or researcher (the ideal person to explain it, it's half their job) then just phase them out to give a…
I feel I'm in the minority on this one but season 9 is for me still on par with the great seasons. As you say, it has a mix of styles thanks to being shared between a number of showrunners and this I think means it's a good cap on the golden years of the show.
Saw it at the GFT as well, one of those movies I've always wanted to see in a cinema. They really need a way to request movies there though. I'd take a whole Mann season and the new remastered Sorcerer for starters.
Not sure if this is common knowledge but in the town hall meeting when Burns challenges the residents of Springfield by saying "who here has the guts to stop me?" you can clearly see everyone avert their gaze apart from Maggie, who also happens to be in the dead center of the shot.
