At least Barrowman was legitimately awesome as Merlyn in season one. It's understandable why they'd want to keep him as long as possible.

Damn. I'd be happy if the season ended with getting rid of Kendra and Rip.
You just need to stick your fingers in your ears and hum. Trying to think through the time travel stuff will just give you a headache. Or make you irrationally angry.
Why couldn't he have just checked with Gideon? Presumably Gideon would easily be able to find out who the ancestors of whatserface was to settle it once and for all.
Presumably Rip is still clinging to the reasoning of "I'm doing this to save the whole world, saving my family is just a fringe benefit".
And now we can't even have Suicide Squad adventures for Dig and Lyla because of the stupid decision to off all the Squad characters that are going to appear in the movies.
Surely in at least one of her lives, Carter has been killed first and then she's gone on to love someone else until Savage gets her.
Yeah, I didn't get that either. Removing him from the timeline is effectively the same as killing him so it should have the same result.
I think I read somewhere that it's four movie length episodes set over the course of four seasons?
You take that back about Paris!
Hasn't ASP said that she wants the episodes to be released separately? That could ruin my plans for an all night binge.
Agreed!
I'm hoping that Oliver has learned his lesson about keeping secrets from the team. Him promising to change to Felicity one week and two weeks later turning around and lying again, especially with something as big as this, would be seriously dumb.
I've loathed Laurel from day one, so I'm fine with her dying. I think the character was miscast and the acting has been frequently ordinary, which wasn't helped by woeful plotlines.
Would Laurel be that hypocritical though? Even with Sara in bloodlust mode Laurel was adamant that she'd done the right thing in bringing Sara back.
Isn't the usual deal with these shows to have a five year contract?
Really though, even if they had clearly shown her starting to seize while looking at that picture, people would still question it. We're in a universe with Lazarus Pits, a team of time travelers dedicated to changing the future and a Flash that loves to change shit.
I think everyone except Oliver does too.
Agreed. Killing off a character from comic book canon doubles down on their claims to do their own separate version of the Green Arrow's story.
While I think Laurel bringing up how great Felicity was for Oliver on her deathbed was on the nose, I think Diggle needling Oliver with that barb about Felicity was right on the nose. Dig was pissed and absolutely everything was fair game.
