I think you have to push through the first six or seven episodes of season one. That said, I do miss the higher level of athleticism from Oliver and the gratuitous shirtless workout scenes from early season one.

Aside from the crying in season 3, I've actually liked Oliver and Felicity as a couple. It feels natural for them to show little bits of affection without the show pointing at it going "THEY'RE A COUPLE".

I actually think this pretty much confirms Felicity is fine. They wouldn't be pushing us to think that so hard if she wasn't going to be fine.

It took me a full minute to actually remember that Vinnie Jones was on Arrow. Wow.

The promo for season 3 has been both excited and anxious. It's going to be BRUTAL.

Yeah, we wouldn't want to miss out on Laurel getting the crap beaten out of her by an everyday street thug yet then able later the same episode to take on a League of Assassin member and beat them.

Interesting. You'd think the "it's bad news" from the trailer points towards either paralysis or the loss of ability to have kids. The latter would be incredibly dark, especially once Felicity finds out Oliver's been lying to her about the kid.

I started a kill count in a season one rewatch and had to give up after a few episodes. I think you could reasonably assume an average of six people per episode.

What about the kid himself? That would be pretty hardcore, but would inspire Oliver to some serious violence, which would actually be pretty great.

By the end of season 3 I'd cooled to the point where I just wanted her to have an extended visit to her mother, but after all the Sara resurrection stuff I was back on the hate train.

My tip is the kid's mother. Which would probably be a bad outcome because then the kid would likely be transplanted to Star City unless he's got grandparents/other family he can be dumped with.

Yeah, but isn't Sara still going to have waves of the bloodlust like Thea? I think Nyssa can be sort of glad Sara seems okay while still being pissed at Laurel for going against her wishes and against the advice of basically everyone.

I actually think Arrow's done a pretty great job weaving in the spin off stuff. Much better than the Flash, at least. The only misstep this season has been the Arrow half of the crossover, for me.

It's worth looking up the accounts online of the whole thing.

I've read them. They're a rehash of her fanfiction, which drew heavily (and often did not clearly attribute credit) from multiple sources for dialogue/scenes, including (but not limited to) Buffy and Blackadder. I wasn't overly familiar with Buffy before reading Cassandra Clare's work and it wasn't until I actually

I still can't believe she managed to get a book deal on the back of that and the plagiarism allegations. The dialogue "borrowing" was maddening and extensive.

I notice there's no reference on there to her alleged plagiarism. I wonder how many times that's been put in and then edited back out?

Unsurprising. The books are pretty ordinary and just rehash the author's fan fiction with different character names. And what crap names. Clary Fray has to be the worst name for a lead character ever.

Definitely agree. It was worth seeing in 3D purely for the lantern scene. In 2D, that was probably the most beautiful animated scene I've ever seen, but 3D just made it so much better.

I know! I found WHAS: First Day at Camp so much funnier when the AV Club took the time to carefully spell out, on a scene by scene basis, which bits were funny.
