Nathan is such a character, but a huge douche…

Kidman and Witherspoon have really nice chemistry…

You can always tell a sexist by the way they dismiss female-oriented work. There is almost always a reference to Lifetime…

Would it not become a gay novel if it featured gay culture / gay characters etc?

HBO's promotional machine for Game of Thrones gets more and more generic with every season…

    I blame Trump.

    Agreed. Really poorly thought out…

AV Club's descent into Gawker-esque politics is disappointing…

    SATC swept awards shows.

But Sex and the City is probably the most important female show of the 20 years? It broke down an extremely pivotal barrier for women on TV. There was nothing like it before.

    Kidman deserves the win…

Perfect example of casual sexism. Glad you called him out.

I think Kidman can play anything. She played a character like Madeline in Just Go With It and she was great…

    Not against this show…

Agreed. I read a review that mentioned that and I completely agree.

I'm a little shocked at how little the review brings up Kidman's performance. Easily the best acting on the show.

How is the subject matter dated?

Emilia Clarke needs an acting coach!

And The Winds of Winter still won't be finished.

Couldn't agree more. I forget just how top draw of an actress Nicole Kidman is. The way she was acting against Skarsgard in that scene was impeccable.
