Wow, I typed precisely the same thought at almost exactly the same time. Synergy.

Favorite moment of the episode: Peter throwing the second glass of water in Castro's face. Excellent.

I don't mind Rayna, but her last conversation with Diane didn't make sense to me. I mean, it seems like any criticisms Canning could have made about Diane's competence would have been undercut by the fact that he just agreed to joined her firm. Given that fact, I don't see how he could have made a convincing case to

Yeah, she definitely needs a friend. Her closest relationships on the show—Kalinda, Peter, and Will—are all pretty much over. I was hoping Will's death might somehow bring her and Kalinda back together, but no such luck.

I'm beginning to think the notable absence of Finn's wife thus far is a setup for some kind of Jane Eyre-type plot with crazy wife locked in the attic.

"It's perfectly natural to question even basic things after a tragic death."

Yeah I had that thought for a second as well. Plus his little headset reminded me of David Lee's bluetooth earpiece he used to wear, which naturally made me think something devious must be happening. Nothing else in the episode confirmed the suspicion though.

Great, thanks. Now I have this unsatisfiable desire for something in TGW universe to be named ZapFuzz.

Good point. Remember the first season when he lowered his pants in the Alicia's kitchen and told someone (I forget who—Daniel Golden, maybe?) to kiss his ass? I'd like some more of that.

I'm not exactly rooting for Peter and Alicia (though I wouldn't hate it if they reconciled), but I am actively rooting against Alicia and Finn. I am enjoying the addition of Finn to the show, but I just feel like it's too neat to have a love interest drop right in her lap essentially on the day of Will's death. It

If I remember correctly, Alicia didn't really do anything to suggest that Owen's claim was true. And as viewers, I don't think we really have any reason to trust Owen's credibility in that department.

I'm surprised I never thought of this before, but Colin Sweeney and Nick Savarese need to go out for ice cream.

On this note, I really miss Judge Abernathy. Sciatica's not lethal is it?

Out street dancing with ex-tutor and Elsbeth.

You make a good case. And there are other redeeming moments as well. Remember when Jackie was trying to buy their old house in Highland Park and Peter laid into her so severely that she had a stroke? It wasn't passionate love for Alicia that made him do that, but it was commitment to their life together, whatever

Haha, that's a good point. Truly bad dialogue becomes worse the longer you mull it over.

I disagree about the Peter-Alicia scene. I think there's a pretty big pile of examples of Peter being tone-deaf when it comes to Alicia. I remember in Season 1 he was talking with her about appealing his conviction and said that after he won "everything would go back to normal"—an idea which Alicia promptly

"There are striped hats."

My god, is that Julius?

Yeah, I love the dancing tutor. I was always sorry that her storyline just gradually drifted out of existence in whatever season that was (2nd? 3rd?).
