What would be Leo's motivation? Then again from what we have been shown, motivation sometimes doesn't really matter on this show.

Seems the mostly likely chain of event. I'm just glad it was done.

Thrown what people off what scent? Run what interference? There was no scent of Fitz and Olivia. There was no need for Abby to run interference. And just suppose it was Abby who released the photos?

If almost all of the schemes blow up in the bad person's face it makes that bad person a joke, an irritant, bad at being bad; the person becomes a caricature. I see no value in celebrating or lauding mediocrity.

LoL. Yes you are. The inconsistencies of this show can be terribly annoying. I would have to assume that Rowan had all of those options open to him, but that he decided to use that option to continue to stick it to Fitz. I think this was simply used as another plot device. The normal response to Rowan turning up to

How could Fitz' behavior be controlling and disrespectful of Olivia's wishes if he,"shakes his head then turns round and agrees with her". Exactly which part of that is disrespectful of her wishes? Was Fitz being disrespectful when he put her mother on a plane and flew her out of the country? Was Fitz being

I know several people who stopped watching it for much of season 4. I myself stopped watching for some of season 4 when it looked like the show was going to keep them apart. You may want to consider doing what we did.

No one does that you claim - yet you have done the exact same thing.Look at the very adjectives that you have used to describe both Mellie and Fitz.

The only good guy person on the show thus far is Susan the VP. Scandal is about showing us that given the right situations we all have shades of gray. I do agree that they have both done reprehensible things which is however not reflected in some people attempting to make Mellie Mother Theresa while Fitz is Lucifer

I live in DC and run along the National Mall several times per week. The distance is too great to see clearly. Plus there are trees obscuring the view somewhat as well.

I don't think it was said who called whom. I would think that it is most likely that Olivia called to speak to Fitz and Charlotte then told her about all the going ons.

Don't say that. My hope is that Shonda would have an OLITZ heavy making out session in every episode - just for those Fitz/Liv haters

I suspect you will not be watching many episodes for the rest of the time Scandal is on then.

Loose lips sink ships. Why should Liv tell anyone she is sleeping with the President? It isn't as if she has ever done so before. It is consistent for her character to keep this private. She has always done so.

Why would Olivia want to work with either Cyrus or Mellie?
Mellie should go find her own Olivia. Perhaps Leo or that John Barrowman guy from The Arrow is looking for a new gig.

Nothing in Scandal runs true to form. It is one of the irritating things I find about Scandal. I was expecting Iron Man, Captain America or Thor to rescue Olivia last season. They would not have been out of place in an episode if this had occurred.

OK, I can go along with this. As long as it is not a return of Papa Pope I'm liking the whodunit thus far.

As usual Mellie was an irritating flea. I am glad Lizzie read her the riot act. Enough already with her. I so look forward to the day when she is written off of Scandal.

I'm rooting for the VP too. She's a hoot and the one person who has not shown shades of gray thus far. I hope they keep her character like this.

I am also baffled by how these people hate Fitz so much because he's a weak, petulant monster - yet they still want Mellie with him.
