My thoughts exactly. I'm surprised by how impressed I am by this trailer.
Margin Call is SO good. Comparisons with Margin Call make me want to watch this now too.
In a world where the Oscars go to the weird and the wonderful more often, Tree of Life would have won a ton.
Yeah, the critic bit was so hamhandedly awful, a really low point in a movie which I at first though was good but overrated and now think is good and underrated (at least around these here parts).
"Pharaoh thunder cape"? But … that sounds like … kinda … fun. Am I going to have to see this dumb dumb movie?
What if that's how the esteemed Mr Snow comes back—Arya uses her new powers to wear his face and wreak bloody vengeance?
Tvtropes could accomplish much the same thing!
Yes! And the producers/director are smart enough to recognize that and keep using it. It just works so well.
Movies: Finally saw Sicario. Enjoyable and worthy of its Cinematography nod, but pretty depressing.
U-shaped bike locks, broken ceramic plates, and trips to Belize are all now incredibly creepy—thanks very much Breaking Bad.
Yeah, I have mixed feeling about the movie overall (mostly positive, I guess), but Jackson's performance was excellent, as usual. I would say he never phones it in, but sadly he kind of does in his more recent outings as Nick Fury, imo.
I forgot the title of the movie since I was at the top of the page, and I'll be darned if I'm going to scroll all the way back up there to remember it, but here's an upvote on the generous assumption that I would find your joke funny if I bothered.
I live in Wisconsin and caught it on late nights on PBS growing up as well. My half Canadian friend loves it. I tolerate and distantly admire it.
I've never been able to see box-cutters the same way since the Breaking Bad episode "Box-cutter"
If there was a best part of Jurassic World, he was it.
I feel kind of bad about this, because it's a Very Important Topic™ and all, but Spotlighht bored me silly. I walked out. I had better things to do. And I really like that cast! I know I have a preference for genre films, but still, wow. Am I missing something? Did it get better in the second half?
A travesty.
Well said.
Amen and amen.
