Batman got back.

I thought it DID eat (or burn) the guy's kid. I thought that was going to be the twist/punch-line to that scene. Huh. I guess the kid just got third-degree trauma and dragon nightmares instead.

I feel like the twist is going for classic thriller/horror mode logic where the hero is technically wrongly accused, but there is a kernel of guilt (or self-perceived guilt) at the core to drive home the knife-twist all the more sharply. Shae is clearly emotionally wrecked by Tyrion's actions toward her, even if said

"Driver of the Toyota Yaris." Nice. Now there's a title we can all realistically aspire to!

I knew I recognized him from somewhere . . .

So Tyrion's going to have to fight Jaimie, right? That feels inevitable.

Cool and insightful analysis. However, I must admit I was more than a little tempted to breeze through and just read the ALL CAPS words. #dangersofemphasis

I don't care!

Anna Friel is one of those actresses whose lack of popularity/presence in more movies I always fail to understand.

If her name was Oh Bai Ling, she might be confused with Obi-Wan.

Yeah, I always think "Damages" first.

I really liked Pacific Rim, but I'm willing to hazard a guess I would have liked it even more if I watched anime.

A giant yes to that sentiment.

I didn't outright hate that arc, but it was far and away the weakest, silliest (in a mostly bad way) thing that the show did under Harmon. I'm glad they have slightly backed away from such excess. In fact, the most recent season finale seemed to have the opposite problem, being a bit underwhelming/bland.

In my humble opinion, you are doing yourself a disservice in regards to both those shows. I mean, I imagine you will have just fine quality of life without them, but they are dashed fine shows, and possibly my favorite tv comedy and tv drama, respectively.

Yeah, I'm usually a but bewildered by the sort-of retroactive backlash against season 3. Perhaps because the whole dictator Chang arc at the end was pretty insane, even for a generally insane (in a good way) sitcom. In my opinion, season 3 has some of the very best individual episodes (Remedial Chaos Theory,

Conspiracy Theories is one of my all-time favorites, probably in my top 3 at least. So incredibly spot-on.

Another instance for me would be the moment in the latest Mission Impossible movie where Tom Cruise jumps out a window and starts RUNNING DOWN THE SIDE OF THE TALLEST BUILDING IN THE WORLD. And I was watching on Imax. And I was laughing in sheer joy/awe/disbelief.

True that. I laughed in delighted joy for instance when in Pacific Rim … SPOILER WARNING
