I like Keanu Reeves, and I can say this with a certain authority because I saw his Hamlet! Ha ha, he wasn't very good, and he really wasn't good in Dracula, but I still like him! Of the 70s-80s classics, Phantasm might actually be the ideal kid horror movie! I think a kid could relate to its internal logic, or "logic," better than most adults! It's weird and scary but not too graphic - a good intro to adult horror!
