Jack hasn't show much interest in her although now that he's presumably over his depression and despair that could change.

I'd really love some sort of reference or nod to Dexter's Laboratory, which was my favorite cartoon as a kid.

That was definitely Bert from Bert & Ernie as the steward on the airship, right? And Astro among the sea dogs but I can't recall if the other dogs were famous cartoon hounds.

I really applaud the show for not going overboard with the freedom they have now that they're airing on Adult Swim. The blood and gore has been kept to a minimum as has the language.

Danny will be at least 50 by the time the next one starts rolling. I do wonder what he gets out of putting himself through such hell with the insane shape he has to maintain and stunts.

Bond survives the encounter in the book because of his cigarette case holder in his breast pocket.

The thing about 21st century James Bond is that the plots are inevitably going to trend towards being the same thing: some asshole with a computer wants to use the internet to take over the world or cause mayhem.

Now that I think about it, Lana's repeated attempts to make light of syphilis takes on an especially dark tone when you consider that in 1947 the Tuskegee experiments of observing the progression of untreated syphilis among impoverished Negro sharecroppers was in full swing.

"Well look at it this way, the most racist thing we could do is only send Negroes to fight in our wars."

Also getting Frank Langella was an absolute coup for the show. Hopefully beloved character actress Margot Martindale gives him the Emmy she'll win this year out of pity since he's been snubbed for so long.

She really is, it's easy to imagine a lesser actress dragging the show down but Holly Taylor brings it along with the rest of the cast of veteran actors. In that sense she's the show's saving grace since it's almost impossible to write drama for teen characters and make it work.

Jesus preached volunteerism. He didn't force the rich young ruler at sword point to give his possessions to the poor, it was always a choice.

Well, everything is definitely *not* okay in Paigeland. I am wondering if she's gradually drifting towards suicide but part of me feels that would be too much of a flourish for such an understated show.

Damn, I felt that gut punch with Elizabeth when the cosmetic sales lady showed up at the door. Poor Young-Hee. I think Don just killed himself since as far he knows he cheated on his wife with her best friend, knocked her up, and then prompted her to commit suicide when he tried to goad her into getting an abortion.

Henry needs to discover Ayn Rand.

The design of the interior of the beast was amazing. It reminded me very much of the Lewis Carroll-esque design of the underground city in one of my favorite episodes, "Jack is Naked". I also think the giant slug creature was a slight homage to the space slug in Star Wars, at least in the scene where it shoots out of

I don't think they need to invent identities for assets who aren't illegals. Hans was Hans and I think there'd be no reason to give a refugee a fake name since they appear to have made him asset long after he came to America.

So with that information revealed to the KGB I wonder if they'll do the sensible thing and nix the Pascha operation. Clearly the project he's working on isn't a threat to the Soviet Union and I don't think info on CIA agricultural attaches is worth the investment of your two best agents.

It's spring of 1984. Season 4 ended on Super Bowl Sunday and we've progressed several weeks since, into March.

Exactly. Play silly games, win silly prizes. You can't attempt to hijack corporate culture by making it hip to be 'woke' and not expect corporate America to notice and use it to their advantage.
