Jimmy will logically at some point have some older clients who are very rich and very douchey (or otherwise unpleasant people). And, even if he's not directly scamming his elderly patients while they're still alive, it could be heirs to estates where Jimmy is the executor of a will.

I think it's extraordinarily optimistic to think that Jimmy would have stayed a straightforward, honest elder law attorney. Just based on what we've seen on this show - not even considering his future as Saul Goodman - temptation would eventually get the better of Jimmy. He'd have his rationalization: it's a large

Chuck is an unpleasant person and has a lot of negative traits.

Chuck has a lot of negative traits as a human being. I can't disagree with that point.

"And so they decide to fight on, preferring the risks of staying in the arena to the losses they’d incur by taking the proffered deals."

Thank you for that correction and clarification.

The document that Elizabeth took says "American Psychiatric Association" and "Committee on Human Rights" on the front of it. I assume that this psychiatrist is part of this Committee preparing or approving the report, so that's why he has a copy of the (unredacted) report. A final version of the report that's

I didn't think it was that hard to follow the basic outline of the story as Stan told it. The key characters if Renee's a real girlfriend - and not a spy - are Stan's boss and Stan's boss's boss, and the key point is whether or not Stan will get fired.

Was I the only one wondering if Mischa's name is somewhere on the list that Elizabeth stole from the office this episode?

I'm thinking that it was intentional by the writers, but I'm still split on "red herring" vs. "Renee's a spy".

U of I is commonly used to refer to the University of Illinois (specifically the flagship campus in Champaign-Urbana). Indiana is "IU" because the institution's name is "Indiana University".

True, but I'm not sure how Paige will ever figure out they're lying unless Philip and Elizabeth tell her.

I noticed the same about Renee messing up and using "U of I" rather than "IU" for Indiana University. I have three alternate ideas on that:

I really enjoy the show overall, but I agree with your distaste for this plot line. I hope that it gets resolved soon, because I agree that so far it's pretty dumb.

But the tape without anything else was very likely enough to get Mesa Verde to drop Kim. The reaction of any half-normal corporate client to a piece of evidence like that tape wouldn't be to spend time getting to the bottom of the situation. It would be to get rid of Kim, and hire new counsel, almost certainly not

There were two points surrounding the surveillance at Los Pollos Hermanos that I did not see as true to Jimmy and Mike's respective characters.

My take - at least so far - is that Gus' goal with the note was to protect his own interests. An assassination of a senior cartel person could be bad for Gus' business in multiple ways. There's a good chance that the cartel would suspect Gus is involved, and it might lead to a large police investigation.

Question for any attorneys here: doesn't Kim have a fairly significant conflict representing both Mesa Verde and Jimmy and therefore need to drop at least one of them as a client?

During the time frame of the show we've seen Jimmy:

That's a good point that I hadn't really thought about.
