Fair point, I'll agree to disagree on this one.
That particular plan is pretty far from my biggest issue with the group's tactics (or lack thereof) in recent episodes.
It's oft-mentioned that they apparently have completely (and conveniently) forgotten the idea of using walker guts as camouflage.
Also would expect to

A far more sensible plan than Rick's would have been containment followed by attrition. Keep them in the pit, and then figure out a way to kill (or immobilize) them in the pit.

My interpretation was that it was either a different fuel truck or had been hidden by the group elsewhere and then moved . The group had dumped a bunch of fuel and then ignited said fuel, but hadn't left the truck in the middle of the fire.

The show loves to bring up the theme of efforts to maintain a sense of humanity in the post-apocalyptic world while acknowledging that the world has changed. That would tie well with at least some of the group - or some of the Alexandrians - having some sort of simple celebration of Christmas (or Easter, or

Yes, and the writers will make it even more convenient plot wise when those 3 or 4 rounds that he found will somehow magically multiply into 10 or 20 rounds of future use.

Except that the group could have simply fashioned a new barricade behind those trailers in the same amount of time that they spent working on Rick's plan. Recall that setting up Rick's plan included building a wall to channel the walkers at a road intersection, which was a project that presumably took at least

Ted Bundy was also reportedly very charming, and he got the electric chair.

Agreed, and a key detail of Eastman's story about Creighton Dallas Wilton really bothered me as I watched this episode.

The flashback wouldn't have to be focused specifically on the character. It could be a more general origin story for the Wolves as a group, or it could tie to the theory presented here that Enid is collaborating with the Wolves. You may be correct that the character is alive. I'm just pointing out that there are

Response to SPOILERS

I'll concede that Andy going to the base to get his revenge on Daniel makes some sense. How he found that group's meeting point amidst all the chaos was still a convenient hand wave from the writers.

The latter point has been one of the problems with FTWD. All of the characters - including the lead ones - have learned the "rules" of zombies really quickly, without it feeling earned as to how they've figured it out.

"a ground convoy has no chance"

You are correct. These buildings are, IIRC, civilian buildings (a college campus) that have been taken over by the military. Fire codes do not allow for building doors that lock from both sides in a "normal" building. Makes sense, right? People always have to be able to exit a building in the event of a fire,

Good point. It's another example of how this show has moved too fast while showing too little. The widespread zombie outbreak is roughly two weeks old. How many zombies has Daniel seen? All indications are that it's no more than a handful. So why would he feel comfortable with a plan that requires an

That was a better episode than the past few. I'd rate this one as a C+ or B-, as it has several quality action set pieces (like the original TWD series). The overhead shots of L.A. also provided a sense of place and perspective that were sorely lacking in the (shot wholly in Vancouver) "neighborhood episodes".

Echoing Piecar's point, the plausible assumption - or suspension of disbelief - is that zombies become widespread in the period before the "rules" of how to deal with them are widely known. Then it becomes a question of sheer number of zombies compounded by panic and social disorder as people understand the

Rick wasn't in a coma for something like 6 months. The math that people have worked through is that he was in a coma for about 2 months, maybe less.

"I think the show is moving at an excellent pace and those who are complaining that's it moving too slow must not understand how outbreaks happen. It takes time. It's not going to happen overnight in 24 or 48 hours. Be patient. This show has a lot of potential to be great."

FTWD is far worse than The Walking Dead.
