ok I must be dating myself. I was thinking of very much pre-2000 versions before moving on to other systems.

I've only heard it in European contexts. It seems to devalue the impact of actual racism.

yeah most games I've been in have been with heterosexual couples

a cute note to emphasise that he wasn't familiar with D&D was how Clive described his character with the wrong phrasing to make "Dwarf Fighter" sound like someone who fights dwarfs as opposed to a Dwarf who has the occupation of fighter. A little bit like the confusion around the Nippon Ham Fighters of Japanese

wow that was some long, lingering camera work on Major's hairless chest and abs.

Loved Ravi's Scottish highlander accent.

"we've been diddling around for two hours and we haven't actually done anything!"

I once took a hafling past second breakfast and onto elevenses. May the hair on her toes always grow long!

I've played other RP games more than D&D actually. Does D&D use the d20 so much? I thought that system uses d8's for must things? How accurate were the writers being in this episode?

huh?

I'm embarrassed to admit that it wasn't until they guy said "I think this might actually be happening" that I thought the Dungeon Master might actually be dying. Alas, I've played way too much D&D.

These types of comments seem to be made by the people who were posting "but what about circumcision" to all the news articles about female genital mutilation.

sure. but that wouldn't be racism. It would be anti-ethnicism. (and still bad)

yeah I've noticed a trend lately where people are calling mean spirited anti-ethnic or jingoistic behaviour "racist" and then defend the use of the term in very illogical ways. It seems to be a European trend. Have you noticed this in the US too? It seems to undermine the seriousness of actual racism.

yeah. that was touching. and that kid was so damn cute.

yeah. and I think Stan picked up on that.

"Oh shit I have a lot of awesome boots!"

then Phil weeps.

asked Liz to take go and sit somewhere. He tells her about the tape that he almost trashed. Points out that someone will need to keep "developing" Kimmie. Liz understands the gravity of it. She apologises for making him stay. Suggests maybe he can just stay and run the travel agency or something and she can keep

It would be nice if Pasha could somehow meet the hockey player who Stan is developing as an asset.
