or the murderer sent the text and knows about their relationship…remember the episode ended with Joan over the body. The murder could jump out at the beginning of the next episode. Let's hope Sherlock was tailing her.

yeah…she enters a room where the door is open and it is dark. Shouldn't she at least flip open her extendable baton?
I'll miss Shinwell. The actor did a really good job of making us think that something deeper was going on and we couldn't trust his motivations.
I didn't realice Lucy directed this until I read the review. I liked an early shot with Det Bell in the foreground as the action was happening behind him. Also I liked how there was some sleight of hand where we thought maybe the black woman at the TV show was somehow going to tip off the child soldier guy based on…
so why do confessions, even if they aren't written down in an interrogation room, have to be written on a legal pad? Did he buy that just for the confession (there seemed to be quite a few unused pages)?
How many of us were getting excited when Joan discovered Sherlock asleep? Such a missed opportunity to do something fun or at least to have Joan take on a mischievous expression and think through the possibilities.
I was hoping that Joan's fascination with the mob would have come out a bit more when they were interviewing the guy in the strip club
I love Joan's Coat of Buttons and really liked her horizontal stripped sweater. She was rocking it this episode.
That dog lawyer poster could have been better if they had simply used some pearls and a little lace. Most people would have caught the RBG reference.
What type of flower was that pinned to Joan's dress in the opening scene? It was stunning against the black of her dress.
woot woot! iTunes actually uploaded the episode on time this week!
Sherlock raises (and loves…is this too strong of a word? respects?) bees. Why would he make a meal of insects? Sure it is a quirky thing to offer Det. Bell but is it inline with Sherlock the character?
I agree about both points (I'm a HUGE Det. Bell fan)
I don't mind the vigilantism I just want it to be more creative. See my previous comment regarding BEE ATTACK!!!!
exactly. like maybe a BEE ATTACK!!
Presumably Everyone was involved? "So, just in case anyone is looking, later, for the most effort-to-payoff ratio ever given for a throwaway detection on this show: Sherlock hired an actor to play a man with intense-yet-falsified online credentials (which presumably include employment history and banking records) so…
I agree with this so much. The subtle acting touches in this show are very much underappreicated "Also a small moment, but one that leaves me curious: Marcus hesitates before telling the lie that his mother was in a car crash, and Joan has a look on her face like she’s not quite buying it, but when he’s finished, she…
I enjoyed the quips Sherlock was making about the urination at the crime scene.
I thought the delivery of "I'll watch…I'll TRY to watch" was delivered very well.
It seems that iTunes is now releasing Elementary exactly one week after it was aired. Sort of like an embargo. Thanks Apple! (sarcasm)
