Maybe I don't watch enough super hero shows but it seemed like the interesting parts of this episode were similar to Mr. Robot but made by a less creative director. I might watch this if it were more like the first half, but definitely not if it is like the last part.

Wasn't there a Japanese film from maybe the 80s or 90s which had as similar visual of a man and a woman holding hands through a rope?

strongly agree

Alex Morris and Louis Anderson had amazing and such sweet chemistry in this episode. Outstanding.

The Bonzo and the chainsaw were great sight gags.

Murder, He Wrote.

I liked how Carrie wrangled the tape measure in the Take a Shhh skit.

In the B-52s box set…was that a butt plug with a wig?

Nichole seemed tempted by Dale's "charms".

I also hate a soggy crouton

How is Martha's cardigan inside her cast?

Martha's subtle expressions during the "my seed in your dirt and we'll have a little squirt" were perfect.

I once smuggled oxycontin in my derryair, but it didn't end well.

ahh like in Wizard of Oz. Ok I understand. Not sure how effective it is.

Are you guys going to review The Expanse this season?

I'd read that (and feel a little tingly as I do it)

yeah I liked that the trope of the "be careful of this weird pixie" turned into the trope of the "crazy ex-girlfriend"

it was really weird that they were still using the blue/green moody filmy technique when they were playing the comedic parts. It felt dissonant. If she is "going to a dark place" then why lighten the tone? Use the other plot threads to do that.

What did they want us to think was going to happen before she started shaving his head?

Doesn't maple syrup spoil? Should barrels of it be refrigerated if being stored for 5 years?
