I really liked Carrie looking directly into the camera and nodding as she was hanging from the rim after dunking the basketball in What About Men
pretty good actually.
I really liked this series.
yup :)
I admired it's punctuation.
exactly…and they work with "Major Crimes." If they focused on shoplifting, we wouldn't get Detective Bell!
I really liked the long double row of buttons on the back of Joan's coat in an early scene. It is the little details.
"The instant the bright-yellow creamer came out, you knew the wife was guilty, even if you weren’t sure why—and you were probably sure why, given that it was the most Technicolor packaging this show has given us in a while." Not to mention the extended shot on the 2% milk in the opener
ahhh yeah I've seen that sort of thing. So the decision to not stick her thumps through indicated that the back of her hands were warm enough?
How Doro looked for the bottle cap very slowly and ineptly at his feet was well performed.
The Brits are the worst.
"exposed wrists is the new exposed shoulders"
why did Eleanor have holes in the cuffs of her hoody? Or is it a fashion thing (sort of like those weird shirts with the shoulders cut out of the sleeves)?
how could you miss Dogfish Head??!!!
watch it again and notice how she walked out of the room. it was really good acting. emotion doesn't have to just be yelling.
this actually really makes a lot of sense after re-reading the really insightful review above. The writers are really handling that inner-Joan conflict for on multiple levels for the viewers.
The scene where Joan has been scouring the phone records. Sherlock sits down. We expect him to solve things instantly but inwardly groan. But then Watson cracks it!
I like Shinwell's street chess swagger.
Was Joan really trying to take a pulse on a wrist through two layers of clothing?!
