It's only a TV show…
It's only a TV show…
Having a bit of a law or business background (the other field I've heard she might major in) can only help even if she stays in acting.
Sue's roommate looked too dark to even be compatible with Darlene Connor, let alone Alex.
They both should have been nominated a long time ago, but right now Sarah has a much better chance to get a nomination than Ariel (even though I believe Ariel's the better actress, though Sarah's far, far from a slouch herself), simply because Haley is going to be a key character (and possibly "the" key character) on…
He was probably having trouble with a rabbit in his garden…
With Mitch and Cam at the helm, The Artful Lodgers is going to make Fawlty Towers look like a Four Seasons.
Alex has shown some aptitude and appreciation for art before - it wasn't for painting but when giving her a B- on her living art project* her teacher said he expected more from her.
I thought it was more like the Season 4 opener ("Bringing Up Baby") - it started right after the events of the past season (S4 was the day after the ending of S3, last night's started minutes after "American Skyper" ended) and quickly went through the events of summer (here the similarity wasn't as close - they did…
Because it's about Alex - be thankful they even remembered that she and Sanjay had fallen for each other.
I don't think it was quite that dark (it was more emotional than we'd expect for an opener), however, had Alex chosen to do the darker painting (lots of black coloring and dying) that seemed to be in the cards the way the scene was playing out (given her mood at the time) I'd be more in agreement.
Thankfully Ariel doesn't have to be strapped down under her tops at work anymore (that to me was the really sad revelation of her whole surgery story) - as much pain as she was in just in normal everyday life I can't even begin to imagine how much worse her suffering was on set.
Maybe it will get fixed by next week but the re-done Pritchett part of the opening (for the new Joe) looked like a real rush job (OK, I can barely work the video camera feature on my smartphone, so that's a stone I shouldn't throw in my glass house, but…)
For a show that does a lot of product placement, I'm surprised they didn't have Haley get through her depression with a few Domino's pizzas…
And this year the antepenultimate episode ("Patriot Games") trumped them both - that episode felt more like a finale than the two that followed.
Well last night's episode fell all the way to a 2.3 rating (down from the 3 area it was getting until last week). If that's not a fluke but instead a trend for next season it might not even make it to Season 8.
Even allowing for the fact that this year's finale had virtually no chance of being as good as last year's, last night was a disappointment. It was too much hi-jinks (and I didn't find much of it funny) and not nearly enough emotion for the occasion.
I'll give them an A for effort for trying a more emotionally toned episode, but for some reason I just didn't feel it, at least until the last segment. Even Lily's sudden turn of emotion when Cam and Mitch talked about them someday getting sick and not getting better, which should have hit me real hard because I was…
Just don't let Alex near that cake before you have a piece first, unless you like it mangled…
95% of the time I'd agree with you (usually Alex's sarcasm and snark are her funniest moments) - I just thought last week she went a bit too over the top, although watching it again I did laugh at many of her moments. But I still think she could have shown more tact towards Sanjay given the setting (she didn't go…
That's what I think - Alex winning those awards was not a major story in "Integrity" (it was more of a sub-story to set up Luke and Claire's story) so they weren't going to take time to show Sanjay winning awards - I'm sure he won his fair share of them.
