I actually assumed the cricket was the gift Evie was giving John but now I'm guessing that's not the case.

I take the point, but Ender's guilt from the previous xenocide is clearly THE important driver of his behavior for the remainder of his life. It's hard to start over and divorce that motivation from Ender's Game.

I really liked the fact that the first episode kept us hanging with the status of Will, Alana and Jack. And then they spoil it ALL in next week's preview? Why? I am hoping there were some "flashbacks" in that preview.

Yes. What part of "chaos is a ladder" don't people understand? Good god, it's one of the most iconic dialogues they ever gave a character on the show.

Are the "W"'s really just "M"'s for Morgan? Since they teased him pretty hard at the end of the last half season.

Her?

Jim Jeffries actually does a great one. And included it in his show before it was cancelled.

Well put. And nice for me as a Gen X-er. Though I was more partial to the "MTV generation" tag.

Actually EXCEPT for those "entitled" millennials who, for pretty much the first time in American history, are being handed off a shittier country.

Oh Gordon can certainly catch them all for longevity sake. And then the Joker arrives and busts them out of Arkham Asylum or something. It's not too difficult to pull off. I mean, Ra's al Ghul did it in Nolan's first Batman and then Bane pretty much did it again in Nolan's third.

No. In fact, he is a Aussie.

Don't masters inherently know when their progeny are in danger? How come Eric never seems to know about Pam?

But all of the sessions are taped. If the statistical office was legitimately concerned, they would first verify with the taped interviews.

They definitely showed a dead Kenya after the Fangtasia battle but they didn't giver her on an on-screen death. Like Tara, bizarrely.

So a show that sounds like "The Big Bang Theory" is somehow too risque for FX??? The best channel on television? I adore Charlie Kauffman and Michael Cera, but, I don't know, maybe the pilot just sucks.

I hate the resurrection of characters. I particularly hate the resurrection of crappy characters. I triply hate the replacement of one resurrected character with a lesser resurrected character. And finally, I hate the resurrection of a character who will most likely set in motion the death of one (or both) of two of

Yeah. Tyrion really had no other reason in the world to confront and possibly kill his father, amirite?

I think newbies would definitely call it "best season of the show". The ratings have been out of this world. And I would agree with the newbies. It included the most interesting book material and many of the changes from the book IMPROVED the story.

But major improvement that Tyrion doesn't lie to Jaime and tell him that he killed Joffrey. That dialogue never made much sense to me. I mean, Jaime is literally saving his life at that moment in the book.
