The CW is actually pretty cheap when you look at some of budgets for every episode of Arrow and Flash. There are plenty of times where they can cleverly hide their production restraints.
Though this has led me to think CW is always going overbudget somehow and will go bankrupt in the near future.

Well the thing with Guillermo is that he spreads himself to all these different projects that either never get off the ground or just suck. Really kind of disappointed with his directed films. Crimson Peak was kind of bad and lame. At least Benicio does a good job with his acting skills in even bad films.
