If you listen to their podcast "Whomp it Up" it sort of reminds me of those ads, which are in the same vain - I dunno, if there must be ads, at least they can be funny.

I'm getting a definite Stars Hollow vibe from Pinebrook and I do NOT hate it.

I have to add in Sue's great: "You said you were important, I could testify to that."

My only hint was a really strong feeling that "She's not going to get her happy ending that easily, they'd never let that happen" but more in a "waiting for the other shoe to drop" way than actually getting that he was a delusion.

Yeah, but you know Amy is not about to be tardy or get detention. She is of my ilk and her friendship of a school administrator was GUARANTEED not as cool as getting away with stuff. A brown-noser can smell a brown-noser a mile away. Oh Amy, me too… me too.

I know stupid dust flying all over my room suddenly when that happened. Maybe a twig in my eye or something…

The relationship in this episode seemed a hell of a lot more contentious than it ever felt in the books… I think they're playing it up for drama. I don't think we have anything to worry about with them in the future ;)

How was the nudey bit basically glossed over in her review? So much of Menzies to see!

In the books she does speak to this a bit, and it's alluded to that he wasn't necessarily a stranger to the ways of other types of loving, but was new to "traditional" sexy time.

Well, Claire is extremely well traveled and cultured because she spent her childhood traveling around with her uncle. I think that explains a lot of her vast knowledge.

Brown gravy?

God, so true! She's a witch, burn her! Burn her! Monty Python has totally co-opted any sort of witch burning scenes. Never will I take them seriously again.

I'm 29, and was very much of the JTT/Keagan/BSB/N'Sync era. I'd say JTT/Keagan are maybe too old, but only by a few years.

Can I also say how happy I am to hear Laoghaire's name pronounced? "Leary" - wow, never guessed that while I was reading and trying to parse that Scots dialect. I even lived in Edinburgh for a while.

I agree… Dre is a real drag on Bow. His issues are all so superficial and petty. He doesn't seem to deserve her and I'm just not seeing the appeal that he has or what he brings to the table for her.

Ummmm that's some backward ass thinking. First of all, he was mad at her first and foremost b/c she got dumped by the lame dude in the group - he didn't know about the rest, so right there it's just him being superficial. He even admitted he thought of them as J and Bey, some power couple. It had nothing to do with

They're not shots - in never have I ever you take 'drinks' of what you're already drinking - in her case wine :)

Can we start a petition to kill of Andre? He is just simply insufferable and I do not know why a badass chick like Bow would be swindled into loving him. HE SUCKS!!!! Like, seriously, you're hung up on her being dumped in her past???!??? He is a terrible character with zero redeeming qualities. I'd like to revamp

Agreed - I've been waiting to see how/if they handled the punishment scene. It was such a turning point in their relationship and her relationship to the men she traveled with, and to me it translated quite literally from the book. Well done, and actually less brutal than I imagined from the book. So thankful this

I don't know why everyone is so disturbed by this relationship. I think part of the reason is that this is the first show in quite a while that focuses from truly a child's POV. Goldbergs is a natural comparative, but given that Adam's siblings are all older, I think people connect with it more. These storylines ARE
