He'll always have Donnie Darko, though… BTW, I wish they were in more movies together, like John and Joan Cusack.
You mean the man they call Jayne Cobb?
Very glad they can now write towards a conclusion they know is the full and complete conclusion. BONUS H&CF, woo!
Except that the amount of people who died in Star Wars was much higher than just that. Don't forget all the 1000s? 10s of 1000s? 100s of 1000s? of people who died on the first Death Star as it exploded as well. And the various other deaths sprinkled throughout the movie, including Obi-Wan himself.
Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous. I guess not only do the deaths need to be "on screen" but they also need to be closer to the camera than some arbitrary limit. Alderaan was just too distant from the Death Star compared to those ships in GOTG, I guess. Oh wells.
hehe…
Also, the fact that the tech guy implied he was like Ryan (caught for some naughty hacking business) and now works with law enforcement… well, it gave my wife hope that Ryan would cop a plea and end up working for the cops or FBI or DOD or something with his brilliant internet-predicting hacker mind, but… eh, that'll…
And it was a miracle Community lasted as many seasons as it did on NBC before Yahoo hosted it for its final season. Damn that Big Bang Theory and CBS/NBC's scheduling departments…
I watch both TWD and FTWD, but they're certainly not prestige, no. But they pay the bills so the Better Call Sauls and H&CFs can keep airing.
Yay, Prodigy! Literally the first service/ISP I went online with… summer of 1994. 14.4kbps modem… best birthday present ever, thanks Dad!
Amen, brotha. Wish it had 2 mil a night ratings. (sigh)
I mean, I just figured the cops were there to grill Joe about the theft/giveaway of the code. And when we then move back 4 months prior and already see all that… I'm like "why do they need to interrogate him again?" But I think Joe does mention at some point that they've been checking with him once per week about…
I did as well. Not to snog or anything, but just to talk about Ryan, probably.
The last 3 or so eps have indeed been brilliant, but I disagree that the first eps of the season were boring and slow.
Hey hey hey… I'm glad of a break from non-stop Donna-bashing (not that she hasn't deserved some of it as of late), but don't shift to bashing Gordon! … notorious wimp!… that'd make a good emcee handle for him, actually.
The reason Diane pointed them to Swap Meet is because they were wanting to start doing the same thing. Swap Meet didn't give them the idea, Swap Meet had the same idea earlier.
"Never has someone gone behind my back to poison the decision makers against me."
I believe it was stated in an episode (much to the other coders' surprise, as Cameron always spoke of all of them as partners (implying equality) in the venture) back in season 2… that Cameron owned 90% of it. But by this point, she owns far less of it. So it's not chiefly Cameron's company anymore.
I miss Community. (sigh)
