I don't know that the "depends on what you mean by real" line was supposed to continue to comfort Angela about her mom's death and Elliot/Darlene's dad's death. I think Whiterose had finished with that line of comforting after the "what if they died for something greater than themselves" type stuff.

Oooo, that's good. I had thought of the 2nd interp, but the 3rd one is tasty as well.

I don't know that from what happened on the screen in the previous ep that we can say Darlene definitely survived, but yes… Cisco definitely got shot in the head, that much is for sure.

It sounds like you might have enjoyed the season better if you'd waited till next week and then started a binge-watch all the way through the 12 eps.

Well if we're allowed non-movies into the ranking, then yes… in that case:

Blue Velvet, Wild at Heart, Twin Peaks FWWM.

Tangents only ruin things if you don't like going off-topic.

The ~20 minutes of fake sitcom fantasy was one of the highlights of season 2 to me. It wasn't being bad on purpose, it was emulating something Elliot as a boy might have spent his time watching as a form of comfort from Mr. Robot to his host.

I'm usually a patient line-waiter at restaurants (but often not so patient at red lights when people seem to have fallen asleep at the wheel during before the green came 'round, though… interesting)…

People who are proud to say they don't own a TV in the late 20th/early 21st century are like people who were proud to say they wouldn't deign to read a "novel" in the early 19th century.

People loving it: "I'm patient enough to wait and see how this turns out, whether it's next week or next season, but in the meantime I am enjoying the hell out of most/all of what this show has to offer each week."

The +s and -s are to avoid the AV Club pages of seasons of great shows looking something like this:

Vincent Price meets Philip of Macedon (father of Alexander the Great, conqueror of much of the ancient Mediterranean world), perhaps.

Most of the things you're wondering about are the things we're all still (supposed to be) wondering about.

great list of points of interest. One note: it was Land of Ecodelia.

I've been rooting all season for Dom to end up joining Elliot and Darlene (and as of a week or two ago Angela as well) in one big happy F society party, personally. She needs to come on over to the "dark" side. ;)

The dude Price was telling he doesn't give a shit about = the Treasury Secretary. And he's appeared at least twice this season? So we have seen what some of the real figures being depicted on the show are doing, at least.

They joked on the Verge digital aftershow dealie that the girl is learning how to hack from the Dark Army…

I only saw season 1 of Mr. Robot this past spring, as I didn't know what I was missing out on last summer… but as a late adopter, I binged the hell out of it and enjoyed a ton. Season 2 has been tough to watch week by week when binging season 1 worked so well for me personally, but when I try to think as objectively

Yeah, I chanted it once but then my wife gave me the look… she really really really isn't a fan of talking during our fave shows together. But I was only doing what Elliot asked me to, damnit honey!
