It would be hilarious to have a Yakty Sax video with a bunch of PETA activists being chased by a pissed off German Shepard dragging a blind person along behind it, but still being very alert to the rules it needs to follow to safety cross the street.

So, the dumbest PETA story I've seen, is some of them buying live lobsters, and trying to return them to the sea by physically going to the beach and tossing them in.

The worst part is, people who use service dogs love them with the fire of a thousand suns. Every time my friend lost one, she was devastated for months or even years. To consider that slavery is to fundamentally misunderstand the relationship.

Why do I hate PETA? I have a friend who is blind and has service dogs. From her I learned that PETA members regularly harass the blind because they consider using a service animal to be slavery.

It really ushered in our current era of super intelligent, obsessively overprepared serial killers. Lector is a gourmand, an artist, a psychiatrist, *and* strong enough to overpower two armed guards and able to control his physiology. Bill is an expert tailor, great at surveillance, clearly good at underground

Greenpeace tries…. just last year they tried to open people's eyes up to environmental damage by doing extensive damage to the Nazca lines.

I really wonder what life must be like for women in Japan sometimes… are anime/manga people just all pervs, or is this some symptom of a larger problem. I guess looking at our comic books, there's no lack for excessively pervy and sexualized women characters too.

Because Catholic and Christian does not mean being anti-gay. I had hoped that he would have at least just not said anything, since that was sort of his promise on becoming Pope, that he wouldn't be fighting the culture war. But it hasn't really panned out.

Generally anything with mechs in it these days will have some 3D CGI… Knights of Sidonia, which I highly enjoyed and recommend, has most of its space battle stuff as 3D CGI, and they blend it as best they can with the more traditional stuff. I also see a lot of things with magic where spells that form complex shapes

It's amazing how much harder it is to be bad at your job when your predecessor presided of historic child rape cover ups.

Even a statement that was clear as day saying 'no' to gay marriage, I still saw a lot of articles talking about his kind and gentle approach. I think people are just reporting the projection of what they want.

The Transformers are sort of the Alpha and Omega of busy character design.

I feel like i could have hiked over to Kroger if I needed too. But it was nice that I didn't have to, and that I didn't have to deal with the insanity that is a pre-snow day southern grocery story.

Fuck the 'good' Pope. Italy had a massive gay marriage rally last week, and he was like 'God only wants one type of family, the one that can procreate'.

Half-life 2 was a lot better of a game back when it came out too… at the time, being able to throw a can in someone's face was a lot more unique.

I just finished the main plot of Fallout 4, so I'll be finishing up side quests, getting bobbleheads, and looking for anything fun that I've missed. And maybe rerunning the last few missions for the Institute and Brotherhood sides.

I'd recommend Looming Tower, by Wright as well. He does some really good investigative work into the founding of Al Qaeda and radical Islam… in both books, its clear that he's interested in showing you the viewpoint of these people, while not condoning anything.

I watched Seven Deadly Sins…. which managed to combine a variety of things I don't like…. namely the casual groping of women, over sexed up costumes, the two young love interest, and a plot that only have ends, but still managed to maintain my interest throughout its first season. Some fun, hyperkinetic fights and a

Yeah, my GF and I were doing a lot of cooking that week, and so we were fully stocked when the snow hit. Had to improvise some pasta by the end there, but the power stayed on and we were fine.

Finished The Story of Sushi…. it wove a lot of interesting facts about sushi with a lot less interesting story of a woman going through a Sushi Academy, which started to feel like all the parts of Harry Potter where the teachers were horribly rude to him. I'm less inclined anymore to believe that its a sign of a
