Yeah, I don't necessarily need for there to be no rape ever in my books, but I feel like male authors, especially in the 50s-70s, were really not taking the time to understand what a trauma it is.

Ted and Robin's kind of bloodless relationship does seem pretty similar to Sarah Chalke and JD's too. I don't think they ever made a really good couple, yet the plot couldn't help but grind them back together. At least Scrubs took the time to show their relationship as it succeeded.
It definitely confuses 'Love' with with 'Wanting To Just Fuck'
If anything, he acts *more* adult in season 1. He's actually taking his studies and position quite seriously in the beginning, before he tries to fit himself into a backpack to avoid paying for a movie.
Yeah, I've not really felt like reading the book because of it. After reading The Gap Into Madness, or whatever it was called by Donaldson and found it to be about trying to make us feel sorry for a rapist, I try to steer clear of that stuff.
I can kind of understand some of these articles if you've been forced to sit through a movie you hate more than once. Have you noticed all the hate articles about Love Actually? It's, honestly, a fucking terrible movie with some bad messages in it, but I wouldn't really give a shit about it except that some…
Timelessness is such a difficult trait to identify when you first see something… there are a lot of movies that seem like they only get better on rewatch.
I made it till Natalie Portman opened her mouth and started saying 'retard' a bunch. I think that's what she was talking about? And then I just turned it off.
Its interesting how Scrubs and Ally McBeal invested so heavily in the fantasy cut away, but it doesn't seem like something that shows do as their 'thing' anymore.
Also, my girlfriend had a friend that was an extra in Scrubs, and Braff and… Turk. I don't know his real name, were always doing mean pranks on the extras. Its nice that they're friends in real life, but Braff is no where near as nice as he wants us to think.
I think it also super overused its cut away fantasy sequences, so if you didn't like them, you'd probably quit right away.
Scrubs seems like what How I Met Your Mother would have been if it didn't end by shitting on its audience. I loved it at the time, but it went on for so long that the quirky protagonist seemed like a bit of a sad sack that couldn't get his act together, and the other characters ran out of plot.
There is Younger Black Guy and Cool Lady. I think they could easily do the job.
Twice!
Honestly, I was just glad that Dre didn't think Tyler was the hero of that film like some people do.
Or at least tell people to dial the brightness down from the "Surface of the Sun" setting.
Yeah. Maybe just advertise bigger and bigger gun safes?
Or remove all safety features on guns and hope that accidents weed them all out.
True enough. That show made me super uncomfortable. I bet they could do some sort of cringe horror movie with the same set up.
Thank him for his service in the Dragon Wars for me.
