Some comedian was talking about how most hauntings could be explained by ghosts being old people that were frustrated with new fangled gadgets and gizmos.

I think there a reality show where two crews of all men and all women competed against each other.

Now, the Wiseass Executioner… that might have a wider audience.

Ghost Hunter shows ruined the ghost story… I took a tour of an old prison in Charleston, and the guy kept blathering on about cold spots. As it was in the middle of summer, I kept thinking, come on ghosts, we could use some of that right now.

What would Community's farewell add look like? Maybe a font made of Dan Harmon's angry, depressed faces?

Yeah, I didn't watch Ben Stark get executed and think "I wonder what the executioner's story is? What are his dreams?"

Makes you wonder if Sheen didn't pick it up in one of those huge porn star outbreaks that have happened in the past few years.

That's a shame… the ending was the most hilarious part.

Waterworld is an interesting failure. The shit that happens in that movie is just kind of amazing… it's like someone tried to build the most unlikable protagonist they possibly could, and spend the most money they could to make real sets that looks like shit. I could see wanting to see that, and then wanting to own

I'm not sure if the movie intended for us to see him as a whinging asshole, but that's certainly how he came off. I think they did a really poor job of establishing him as a fun or cool character too… I saw one critic that thought that they should have made a movie about Obi-wan and Anakin training and adventuring

I view Prometheus as a Good Bad Movie. It is not a good sci-fi movie… it really doesn't under science, scientists, evolution, genetics, or common sense. But for a "don't go in there!" movie where you laugh at the protagonists? It is hilarious.

Aliens: I Just Read About Intelligent Design And It Totally Holds Up.

I remember one of the rumors around Alien 3 was that a religious cult would worship an alien egg as a god.

*just smacks Lindelof*

C3PO also got punished for his wandering off bullshit. He spend a goodly amount of time completely dismembered in Empire.

Exactly. Anakin turns into Darth Vader instantly. He goes from defending an old man to killing children in about 20 minutes. Yeah, this could have been mind control, but for it to work, we needed to really feel the reasons.

I actually rather liked Prometheus, because I knew it was a movie about intelligent design, and was drinking a bottle of wine. So I was happy enough to boo the parts I didn't like. But I don't understand why some people think it was more meaningful than a twice rewritten, confused bit of creationism.

It makes sense… kids like a lot of shitty movies. I still love Transformers, The (animated) Movie with my whole heart, even though it is by no means a great work of art.

I see this a lot, and I wonder why there always a need to defend movies that are just bad? You see
people sticking up for John Carter, for Prometheus, for the Lone Ranger… I honestly wonder if it's real affection, or just argumentativeness.

I read it more like "This is the punishment you get for setting your dad free." Yes, it could be read as a protective move, but Fitz was so damn smug and firm about it, its hard to read it as anything other than him declaring victory in their argument over where she lives and dictating terms.
