Bryan Adams actually could be a hell of a hard rock songwriter when he tried. He wrote arguably Kiss's heaviest (and one of their best) songs, "War Machine". https://www.youtube.com/wat…

Yeah, as a 15 year old when that video came out, I wanted it to seem sexy, and it really didn't. Kudos to Alanis, I suppose.
I blame the Vh-1 series Legends for implanting that same thought in my mind. They'd show archival footage of Freddie talking about Mary, and they'd play that song in the background, so you'd assume "Oh, he wrote it about her." And he didn't even write it!
It's pretty great how prescient U Talkin U2 To Me? was in that regard of podcasts about podcasts. They predicted the future!
I like the concept of The Canon. I'm not sure if I like the show, though. I appreciate their unique perspectives, but sometimes they bring up such inane points and harp on them, that it's frustrating to me.
It was the #1 podcast on iTunes in its first week. I've been hearing about it since it debuted, and it's been out for 9 weeks now.
Everything about the whole Ross scenario was hilarious. "We had to get rid of the bathrooms because they were covered in shit", the Tenacious D song about Russ's Ross (even though it was still the All Bran song), just the tenor of Wengert's voice for that character was absolutely perfect.
MANCHINE
Which makes perfect sense that he is a huge Opie and Anthony fan
"If you want a one wiper/clean one wiper/Russ's Ross!"
He called Jay "pathetic" in court, let's not forget.
Yes, he paused for a long time after she told him that. And even his lawyer decided not to bother with those letters in the trial. There had to have been a reason for that.
Oh, come on. It's fine to suspect that the police had some hand in coercing Jay one way or another, but I'm pretty sure that two murder detectives would not just cut an off-mic deal with one murderer just to make sure they could convict his co-conspirator.
Agreed. He said it makes him want to SHOOT HIMSELF when he hears "He didn't do it because he's a nice guy". That's a little extreme. I think he's going so far to one end of the spectrum to show, "I only want to be proven innocent when people admit there is no proof that I did it," that he comes across as rather insane…
Adnan's whole defense is "It didn't happen". The more and more we learn about this case, it just seems ludicrous to think that he had no involvement whatsoever with what happened to Hae that day. I don't think Koenig is annoying, I think each episode is kind of bringing us along the journey she herself went through…
It took them 9 episodes to GET to Ireland. That was ridiculous. But Season 2 was the best.
That first season was so good.
The only truly unforgivable thing Season 2 did to me was what they did to Freddy. I think that was the point, but still, that really pissed me off.
There were definitely some great later episodes of Rescue Me. The one where Tommy is by himself in the bar with all the ghosts of his past is fantastic.
Season 2 contains the "I'm gonna need a hacksaw" scene, as well as George Mason's redemption, so I will never say anything bad about Season 2. Season 3 was very ridiculous (Jack is addicted to heroin and he's in Mexico!), but Season 4 was great, I thought. 5 got really ridiculous (the President is the bad guy!), and I…
