Must Be Santa, Or Whatever The Hell It Was

Agh! More flashback!

Wow. Weird flashback to getting caught masturbating.

A "fake" New Years song? It's been a while since I've heard it, what's that mean? I could go listen to it and find out but, um, I'm not going to.

And then "they" mention The Christmas Waltz and deliberately leave out the fact that Sinatra's version is so great.

Indubitably.

A good list, as in, correct—bad songs. Although Drummer Boy can be pretty decent in non-classic-pop forms. Always liked the Vince Guaraldi version, My Little Drum, though I guess you could argue that's technically a different song, or a variation on a theme or something. And Sharon Jones & Dap Kings do a fun version

Why do people hate that song so much? I don't love it really, but it always seems…fine.

You're not wrong about the song itself, but I will say, that version the Shins did a couple years ago, making it sound kinda like Pet Sounds era Beach Boys, was a clever idea that turned out to be pretty good in actual practice.

THAT FUCKING EPIC is the title of the parody, by, uh, those one guys that make the parodies.

Yet another possible lesson: Julia Roberts isn't that big a draw anymore.

Fair enough. Just being flippant. Tired of the hype/speculation already.

I wouldn't make a claim for it as a great movie, but it seems weird to get angry over such a trifle of a film, and especially on those grounds. Wasn't there a quasi acknowledgement that his time travel is sort of the character's wish fulfillment, and that everyone has such a location/era in their heads? And is the

Jesus. Gonna be a long winter.
