That’s my take, too. It seemed so cynical to me at the time, to sign this paper saying what we will and will not get if we break up. We were getting married, which is like the opposite of breaking up!

I haven’t been interested in hardware for about that time back when I was in my very early teens! I still go into my computers when necessary but no. I don’t know what new tech powers those drives. Last I heard was 2003 Mac laptops having some kind of gyro in them that disabled the drive immediately when it detected…
