I fixed my sister's iPhone with nail polish. The power button had stopped working because it wouldn't travel enough to click the internal button. Took it apart and applied a bit of clear polish to add a "bump". After it dried, reassembled and it worked.

Oh and for what it's worth the person who hit me had a suspended license and no insurance. The driver was the real problem, but a car with safety features could have saved me a lifetime of neck and back pain. At least the safety features in my car kept me alive.
