That's true, but the book doesn't assume that person next to you sees you speeding up and then proceeds to gun it to block you from merging in. I hate them along with those who speed up when they see you put your signal light on to change lanes.

Exactly! I've never understood why people enter the on ramp and the come to stop trying to get in crossing the solid line or maybe as soon at the stripes start causing traffic to back up. I've always been a firm believer in the merge part. Keep traffic flowing and don't be selfish. If the person next to you (doesn't

If the Start screen has gotten overly cluttered in Windows 8.1 that's the users fault for pinning so much stuff. Your example is perfect in that it shows the real problem, an unorganized average user. The start screen is more efficient when you create groups and label them and make use of live tiles to feed you useful

And downgrade my horsepower? Plus I'm being a little spoiled here when I say I want my car to be new. I ordered my current one with options from the factory and waited two months including its oceanic voyage for delivery to me. So far I haven't felt compelled enough to buy one versus what I can get out of a upgraded

I imagine so. A base WRX though is a bit of a steal if you want something fast and it won't break the bank on price and insurance.

Ah, I went to a few back then too but haven't been in forever. I used to frequent the NASIOC forums back in the day but just don't keep up anymore.

Which is why I bought another WRX even though I wanted an STI. I dropped just under $3k and got it up to 330HP saving myself money compared to the price of an STI. I still kind of want one, but unless they bring back the hatch and really make it worthwhile I might just end up getting another WRX but maybe the Limited

I had a new 2004 WRX and would go to club events but now that I've gotten older (37) and even when I traded my 04 for my new 2011 I had already stopped going to meets. Maybe there are others like me that are still buying but just aren't going to club events because they don't have time like they did when they were in

Chest nuts....nipples?

I plan to get the Vizio 2.1 soundbar since behind my couch are the stairs. I have a brand new Vizio 50" and everything goes into it over HDMI. I plan to use the optical digital cable for sound. I bought a raceway entertainment system kit from Lowe's to hide all the wires in (you can paint it to match the wall).

Obligatory:

It really depends on what OS you're using and how it manages memory. For instance XP tried to keep memory usage low. Windows 7 and up make use of the RAM installed because what's the point of having ultra fast storage if you don't use it. If you have lots of RAM you'll notice that Windows 8.1 will still keep modern

That's what makes hybrid drives a great choice, best of both worlds for now.

Like MightyPez and Tim Tom, I use that extra ram for VMs (surf from safety) and I do use Photoshop 64bit. The average app and person doesn't need gobs of RAM. If it's $20 to double the RAM when you're ordering your new computer then I get it, why not. Otherwise you're better off spending money on an SSD or at least a

Well this past Friday Best Buy dropped the price of a 50" Vizio TV I have my eye on by $200, I got Target to price match and saved an addition 5% because we have a target card. 50" smart led tv for $420

The joke's on him as the RFID reader got him mid air.

I wonder how much this will affect apps like Waze?

Dr. Samuel Johnson is right about Olsen Johnson being right and I'm not gunna give up on thinking my WRX is the best 5-door either!

Here's what I just tried that worked. Hit Win + Q, typed in a search word and apps are listed first. Hit Win + W and it showed results for that word within settings only. Hit Win + F and it returned results for that word within Files only. Not exactly the same but not horrible if you treasure your keyboard shortcuts.

It breaks them up in 8.1 as well. For instance if you search for Word, icons for Windows apps, then modern apps, then files are listed. There's a line and below that are search engine hits. From the drop down where it says "everywhere" you can click on it and then limit the search to a subsection, such as settings,
