While you're at it you should complain about your ISP, phone company and everyone else that hands over your info.

I would put 8.1 on the level that XP service Pack 3 was. I mean that in that it's more than a rollup of updates, it introduces new features.

That's because people hate to learn. I see it all the time, they'd rather someone else do the work than have to learn something new. I have Windows Server 2012 R2 and love it. I can pin all the most useful apps to the start screen and really like the Server Manager Dashboard. Plus if you don't want a UI at all you can

I love the start screen for its live tiles and the fact that I can pin far more to it than the previous start menu. But how often do I see it? Next to never because I'm usually using an app as most people would be. I broke my tiles into useful groups. I find that far more useful and fewer clicking than having groups

Not so strange, they have access to usage metrics. Not very many people use or even know how Libraries are supposed to work. I support a lot of average users and maybe a handful use Libraries the right way. The other 99% would like the 8.1 redesign better.

I wouldn't consider this a fix. SkyDrive is integrated so that you can sync bookmarks, themes, documents, etc. SkyDrive and Windows 8.1

I was waiting for someone to jump on the Dune reference.

Ugh, I hate when people hesitate. Either commit or don't try it, but for the love of God don't half way pull out and then stop. The ones that bother me too are the people who turn super slow, screwing you and everyone else waiting to turn because the lane saturated again. I'm looking at you slow pokes, you cause

Nostalgia times two. I'd buy it because it reminds me of my Dad's Ranger that he taught me how to drive in and that my first car was a 91 Crown Vic with a 5L 302.

Except he likes to do the probing

After this I don't think he has the balls to try anymore.

That tingle is your pee as your body is being electrocuted and you lose control of all your functions.

Looks like his sex life just got derailed.

Tools/materials you'll need:

Yup. Is too much to ask for a flexible display across the inside of the windshield for a full HUD? Make that camera work. Forget those little "someone is near you lights" and have the HUD show where and how close objects are to the car using color. Red=Right next to you, Yellow=Too close to safely change lanes,

That's the great thing about Windows. There's usually 2-3 different ways to accomplish the same task, just pick what makes the most sense to you.

It's exactly the same. One combo over the other just depends on your keyboard layout and which set of keys is more convenient to push.

Right click at the bottom left side for a power user menu. This screen shot is from Windows 8.1 RTM

Of our two cats, my cat actually knows that turning a knob is how you open a door. Thankfully our knobs are all round and he can't turn them, but he can shut doors and if it's cracked open will reach underneath to open the door. We leave the bathroom door open (it's our second bath, not the master) but have a toddler

Either way you're looking through a lens and "pulling the trigger" at just the right moment. ;-)
