I have a Fitbit and love it, I even bought the Aria scale to keep daily track of my body fat and weight. If you have a goal in mind you can use My Fitness Pal http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ and tie it in with your Fitbit account to keep track of what you eat, what you burn, etc.

The exact same way you'd partition a regular hard drive. You shouldn't need to unless your computer is UEFI and not BIOS, then I can see needing a FAT boot-able partition and then creating and NTFS partition to store large files. Use Diskpart or go to Disk management.
