I remember on a stage I was at about my 4th “wave respawn” section and realized the the game was simply cheating. Endless enemies appearing out of nowhere, every single section, in order to pad out length.

I gave up on SR2 and BO2, I can’t even remember if I tried Defiance. I think I was about 70% in SR1 but that world was so... opaque I really had no idea how far I was and needed to use Gamefaqs and start making my own handwritten notes :D

My first playthrough was straight up no cheats. But when I replayed it on my 360, right to the magic/soul glitch and then right to Bloodmoon :D
